Ordered the mapo tofu set. It had just the right spicy kick and tasted delicious. It's nice that there are so many menu options. Other dishes looked tasty too, so I'd like to go again. It faces a major road, and the parking lot is narrow and difficult to park in, so be careful around lunchtime if you're driving.

Visited on Sunday at 13:00. The restaurant was almost full, with more than 10 tables, and very spacious. I ordered verbally from the male floor staff member. ・White sesame tantanmen (1,150円) ・Red-broth tantanmen (1,250円) ・Tanmen with plenty of vegetables (1,050円) ・Shanghai xiaolongbao (5 pieces・950円) The noodles were served about 10 minutes after ordering. The white sesame tantanmen was delicious, with a mellow broth full of sesame flavor. The red-broth tantanmen had the same base with egg yolk and dried chili peppers, but wasn't much different in spiciness. The xiaolongbao arrived after about 20 minutes and were delicious, with soup inside the wrappers. At lunchtime, 1 drink was free. There were few staff, and although I couldn't see the kitchen, it seemed to be 1 cook and 1 floor staff member. The understaffing is worrying. PayPay is accepted. There are 7 parking spaces beside the restaurant (after turning off the national road), but they're somewhat narrow. (December 21, 2025)

I ordered the mapo tofu set. The spiciness was just right, it tasted delicious, and I finished it in no time. The price is a little high. The other set meals looked tasty too. Perhaps it can't be helped since it's on a corner, but parking was difficult.

A place that was close yet felt far away. It's spacious with a wide menu, so it looks like it could be handy. There seem to be many regulars. I think it works for both lunch and evening drinks.

As many reviewers point out, the prices are on the high side. Small plates, generally popular as drinking snacks, start at 550円 here. I think many people consider around 350円 the going rate for a small plate. That difference alone makes the higher pricing clear. The interior has a dim, gloomy atmosphere. A fairly large television adds some brightness. The place is filled with an indescribable, distinctive smell, somewhat like stale tobacco. Sitting down and looking at the menu, the smell, atmosphere, and prices made me hesitate over what to order, thinking, "Was this a rather poor place, just as the reviews said?" I casually flipped over the set-meal menu and thought, "!!?" The lineup included a "東坡肉(トンポーロー) set," a "swimming crab and black bean stir-fry with oyster sauce set," and an "oyster and black bean stir-fry with oyster sauce set." Each was 1150円, but I felt these sets were very good value. I promptly ordered the 東坡肉 set with a large rice portion. トンポーロー is something like kakuni, and while enjoying the aroma of Chinese spices such as star anise, I mentally compared it with the large kakuni set at the famous 四つ角飯店 in Tachikawa. The kakuni at Tachikawa's 四つ角飯店 had a thick sauce with seasoning like soba broth, but the flavor was quite mild. The 東坡肉 here was well seasoned throughout, and considering the long wait at 四つ角飯店, I personally think this restaurant's 東坡肉 set is a good alternative. After all, even the kakuni set at 四つ角飯店 wasn't nearly enough for me, and I added chahan and a large ramen. Even ordering 2 large set meals here wouldn't be bad considering the cost and how well they'd satisfy my hunger. Still, the smell inside does bother me. I added "fried liver" at 650円 and a "large swimming crab and black bean stir-fry with oyster sauce set" at 1150円. As expected, the crab was shell-on and difficult to eat, but that's fine for a Chinese crab stir-fry. The seasoning was good too. In the end, I was satisfied. I felt more satisfied than at 北野食堂 or 楽楽美食. I thought choosing the 1150円 sets or dishes you can only eat here, such as "mushroom and chestnut chahan," would increase satisfaction. It made me want to visit again.
