The parking area by the restaurant entrance fits 4 cars. The parking lot on the main road side belongs to the apartment building, so make sure you don't confuse them. I ordered dinner, and I think it was the stamina age set meal. It was like thin karaage with a strong garlic flavor, but there were plenty of pieces and it was substantial. Besides the main dish, there was salad and Napolitan like you find in bento, pickles & 2 small dishes, plus miso soup—a considerable amount of food. I'd say the seasoning & portions overall have a hearty guys' food feel, so I think it suits people who want to eat a lot. There's also complimentary coffee, which is appreciated. Unless you specify otherwise, it seems iced coffee is served before the meal and hot coffee afterward.

I visited with my wife to try a new lunch spot after seeing it featured on Youtube. There is parking for 4 cars in front of the restaurant. For first-time visitors, don't be overwhelmed by the owner's demeanor. He seems brusque, but the service is polite. His style is to ask what you want to order as soon as you arrive. The interior is rather old, but the atmosphere makes that feel like a good thing. Food is served about 10 minutes after you're seated. I ordered the ham katsu and croquette set meal, and what surprised me was how perfectly it was presented. It looked like the model set meal I imagined being served at an old yoshoku restaurant. The taste was wonderfully delicious, with that “this is exactly what I want” feeling, making me want to try other items too. The portion was generous, and I left full. Maybe the owner's demeanor works against the place…personally, I don't dislike that craftsman-like kind of owner.

I visited for lunch. Parking is available for 4 cars. The atmosphere resembles a rural drive-in restaurant. Upon entering, the owner introduces the lunch menu at the entrance. There are quite a few options, making it hard to choose, but I went with the pork loin tonkatsu set meal. The television is on inside, and no music can be heard. The served set meal includes tonkatsu stacked in two layers on the plate, shredded cabbage, and spaghetti. There is also a small dish with S-size fried scallop and karaage, another small dish with pickles, and nameko soup with red miso. Coffee is included too, with a choice of hot or iced, making it quite a spread. At 1130円, it's good value. The tonkatsu meat is rather thin, but the overall portion is substantial and satisfying. Since the red miso in the nameko soup has a relatively strong flavor, I'd enjoy it alongside rice. Recommended for anyone wanting to fill an empty stomach. Payment is cash only.

Visited for lunch. I arrived before opening and was killing time when the owner let me inside a little early. There are 4 lunch options. This time I ordered lunch D, the pork fillet katsu set meal for 1050円. The drink was brought before the meal. The taste wasn't bad, but were the fried items frozen food? The miso soup had a robust red miso flavor, and this was homemade. Considering the price, it's good value. However, as other posts mention, there's no time to choose from the menu, pressure through separate menu labeling to order lunch, and dishes set down with a thud without a word. I didn't feel as though I'd really had a meal. I want to eat leisurely at my own pace. Even if it's delicious, I'll choose another place.

The entrance is on the opposite side from the street, on the other side of the building after going a little way up a gentle slope. Smoking is prohibited inside, and there was an ashtray outside to the right of the entrance. The lunch menus are posted on both sides as you enter, so you choose and order before sitting down. After you order, the owner places water and a wet towel at your seat and shows you to it. The food comes out in about 5 minutes. Nearby restaurants usually take around 20 minutes, so the quick service is helpful. The owner seems efficient rather than scary. When he had time, he spoke cheerfully with familiar customers. For lunch, I ordered the fried oyster set meal for 1050円. The rice portion is equivalent to a large serving elsewhere. The miso soup is red miso broth loaded with tofu and nameko, refreshing to enjoy after eating. With 6 fried oysters, shredded cabbage salad and pasta, a small side dish, and pickles, it's quite a spread and satisfying. The fried oysters are small, but plenty delicious, and the fresh-tasting sauce goes well with them. Coffee was served promptly after the meal without my saying anything, which felt thoughtful. My only concerns would probably be that the table was dirty, so I had to wipe it myself with the wet towel, and the metal parts of the chairs were very dirty with hand grime.
