View on GoogleI tried visiting again after 10 years” 2021/5/30 I came for lunch on Sunday afternoon. It was my first visit in about 10 years. “Nepal Lunch Set”: 850円 (tax included, as are the prices below) Taste 3.2 points/CP 3.2 points Since the owner is from Nepal, I chose the Nepalese lunch. Saag curry and dal curry are included by default, and you can choose one more from chicken, mutton, vegetable, seafood, or the daily special. I asked for mutton at medium heat (level 3). A drink is included in the set, so I chose iced chai. It was served after a 7~8-minute wait. The rice was beyond a large portion—it was extra-large. I never expected this much… The saag curry was like celery and leafy greens (spinach, perhaps?) stir-fried in oil. It had a little spice. I think saag curry normally has vegetables made into a paste, but at this restaurant it was more of a stir-fry than a curry. The dal curry had chopped beans. They probably used only 1 type of bean, but I couldn't tell whether they were lentils. There weren't many beans either. The seasoning was restrained, and there didn't seem to be many spices. The mutton curry was reasonably good. I requested medium heat (level 3), but it wasn't as spicy as expected. At this level, I think I would have been fine with extra-hot (level 5). The rice was japonica rather than indica. I mixed the rice, all 3 curries, and the achar together to eat, but there was simply far too much rice for the amount of curry. In the end, I was full with about 2 tenths of the rice left and gave up.
