Good taste and at-home atmosphere, kind and friendly service restaurant. Dinner meal price is expensive a bit but acceptable.

The atmosphere is lovely, and all the staff always provide wonderful service. I really loved this place for its reasonably priced duck, but when I visited after a long time, it was gone, which was disappointing (they still have a snack-sized portion, but it's become pricey for the amount). Perhaps it can't be helped with prices rising like this. They have original dishes and seasonal menus too, and it's a lovely place that makes you want to return♪(๑>◡<๑) I'd like to visit again. I'd be so happy if the duck came back.

I brought my 1-year-old child. Overall, I thought it was an easy restaurant to visit with children. Also, of the dishes we had this time, the steak with Japanese-style sauce was a particular hit. We went around 12:30 during a 3-day holiday and waited about 30 minutes, so I recommend reserving if possible. When waiting, the staff will ask your name and party size, so let them know. 【Good points】 ●2 types of children's chairs (a Bumbo type that attaches to an adult chair, and a standard children's chair) ●Plastic side plates and cups for children ●Strollers allowed inside ●The menu's seasoning is generally child-friendly (corn soup, sautéed fish, etc.) ●Large parking lot

First time at Yamanakatei. It was our wedding anniversary, so we had dinner at Yamanakatei, which we'd long wanted to visit. (Reserved in advance.) Our family of 4 ordered the Yama course. It included an appetizer, soup, fish, meat, dessert, a drink, and bread or rice. Everything was delicious, but the French bread was particularly to my taste. It was crisp outside, and the inside wasn't like typical French bread: it had a fine, chewy texture. The fish skin was crisp too, nicely salted and delicious. The potatoes accompanying the steak were quietly excellent, and the cheesecake was incredibly delicious (haha). I want a whole one. As for portions, my wife was completely full, our elementary-school child couldn't finish, and our high-school child could still eat more. I could still eat more too, that was how it felt. (Maybe not very helpful.) The rest comes down to preference, but I think it suits people who usually prefer lighter flavors. Growing kids with big appetites or people who like stronger seasoning might find it lacking. I'd like to try lunch next time. Thank you for the meal😊
