2021.3.9（Tuesday）, my first visit was shortly after 12 noon. This restaurant has been around for quite a while, with about 10 seats at a U-shaped counter and 3 tables for 6 people in a raised seating area, run by an elderly couple. The menu is extensive, including noodles such as ramen and set meals. The average set meal costs around 900円. It's certainly not in a convenient location, but customers kept arriving, so it seems to be a somewhat popular local spot. I ordered today's lunch, the miso pork stir-fry set meal for 590円 + a free large serving. As a lunch service, there's complimentary salad, limited to １ plate per person. You serve yourself, so as much as fits on the plate is OK. This complimentary salad service ends when it runs out. The miso pork stir-fry has a sweet seasoning, like hoikoro without the spiciness. The sweetness comes from miso, so it goes very well with rice. It's delicious. The miso soup had tofu, and the soup was quietly delicious too. As for parking, there's only space for 1 car in the garage beside the restaurant. Also, a strip of paper saying「We sharpen knives」was posted at the entrance ("⌒∇⌒")

Another Showa-style restaurant is closing. With Showa-style diners, if there's no successor and the owners are elderly, it can't be helped. The ramen and fried rice of a typical Chinese eatery had that Showa-era taste and were delicious.

An old-fashioned set meal restaurant. I ordered stir-fried liver and garlic chives, and the liver was moist and delicious.

I don't like the chopped onions and strong soy sauce broth of Hachioji ramen, but I liked the ramen here because it has no chopped onions and the soy sauce isn't overpowering. The set prices are a little high. But the daily special is good value.

The chicken katsu set meal is no longer available. Very disappointing. I also like the stir-fried chicken karaage set meal, so I'll make do.
