Visited in July 2025. I intended to get something sweet at Chateraise, but ended up getting a bento... Well, the recommendation at Dondon is the donburi (rice bowl). It's a bento chain that is (probably) familiar in Shizuoka. It's famous for the commercial from decades ago that is still airing today. Ordered a donburi for the first time! Why haven't I ordered this until now!? I'm going to order this from now on~!

I've been curious every time I come to Chateraise, so I tried it without any expectations☆ There are various menu items, and I chose my favorites: the Maitake Japanese-style bento and the meat and vegetable stir-fry bento. It was voluminous, and I devoured it all☆ The simmered vegetables and tamagoyaki were too sweet, but I'd like to visit again if I have the chance.

Now, here is a question. What is the currently trending Happy Gourmet Bento? Ebi Katsudon, let's go! Dondon? Congratulations! Happy Together The taste keeps getting better, Bento Dondon. I think it's a very good commercial. The tuna cutlet bento is also delicious.

It turns out the bento chain "DonDon" in Shizuoka Prefecture is also in Hachioji. As the name suggests, the "Don" (donburi) is recommended🍚
