A set-meal place I stumbled upon🍚 I was amazed by all the handwritten menus covering the wall😂 And it's cheap too. You just can't go wrong with places like this… The crispy tonkatsu was amazing🐷✨ Run by an elderly couple With a calming, nostalgic atmosphere. I hope places like this stay around forever
View on GoogleI'd moved to Katakura and was looking for somewhere to eat. The exterior made it a little intimidating to enter, so it took some courage… It has an old-fashioned atmosphere, and although the interior is compact, it feels very local. I really liked it. This time I had the menchi-katsu set meal. 3 menchi-katsu for 700円, with crispy breading and juicy meat—very delicious! The complimentary coffee after the meal felt caring and made me happy too🙏 The quiet owner was lovely😀 It's a tucked-away place that makes me want to become a regular, and I hope it stays open for many years.
View on GoogleI'd been curious about this place for a while. First visit in February 2026. Ordered ハンバーグチーズ焼定食 for 850円. First of all, if you're particular about cleanliness, this isn't a place to enter. The interior is dim. The ポークハンバーグ焼定食 wasn't great🤣
View on GoogleIt seems to be run by an elderly man alone. The tonkatsu was tasty, but the miso soup was a little lightly seasoned. Well, for an old-fashioned diner, I think it's reasonably good.
View on GoogleI ordered the ロースカツ set meal(850円), and it was delicious! ◆Rice It comes in a fairly large bowl rather than a small one, with a generous serving. ◆Miso soup It tasted homemade and was a little lightly seasoned, which felt comforting and nice. ◆ロースカツ The ロースカツ came with shredded cabbage, a lemon wedge, pickles, and takuan. The ロースカツ was fairly large, not thin, satisfying, and very delicious! ◆Dessert There was an orange, which refreshed my palate after the ロースカツ. ◆Thoughts While eating, I was already thinking I'd come again! When I visited, the elderly owner was doing everything himself. Personally, I liked both the food and the atmosphere, so it was good overall. From what I found, the katsu curry seems tasty too, so I'd like to try it next time, but I really liked the ロースカツ, so we'll see…
