Very good atmosphere, tasty coffee, desserts, and beer. For me, the only downside is that the lineup of desserts is posted at the time of the cafe's opening. I wish they would let customers know about it a little earlier in the day. Also, they don't reply to DMs on Instagram and there is no phone number to contact them.

I like the simplicity of the interior; it's spacious, accommodates customers with kids in pushchairs, and yet the solo customer can still find a private spot to sip their coffee. I echo what other reviewers have mentioned about the customer service. The first time I came here after a hike, there was only one or two other customers in the shop. I wasn't sure about the procedure of whether it's wait to be directed to a seat, freely grab a seat first or order first, nor was I given any guidance, and was merely glanced at, without a smile nor a greeting of acknowledgement. The coffee was good, and the matcha cake that I got instead of the carrot cake I wanted as it was sold out, was good, too, so I decided to come back for the carrot cake sometime. The second time, I received the same reception and got the carrot cake, which was a little dry and did not live up to expectations. I'm unlikely to come again; to me, it's not worth going out of my way for. I'm not sure whether the carrot cake was originally not good – it seems to be popular and sells out quickly – or whether the customer service influenced how I perceived it.

Excellent coffee. Nice beer selection. Amazing baked goods. The owners are lovely people and the shop has a very laid-back atmosphere. Families with kids are made to feel very welcome.

Cozy and spacious cafe that serves really great coffee (decaf too), gf cakes, and seasonal beers on tap as well as bottles beer to go. Check out their Facebook page or Instagram for hours of operation. No parking at the moment but lots of space for bikes. Towards Takao station.
