It was a great soba place 3 years ago. What happened? My duck noodle had 3 slices of duck but lacked in flavors. The service is great for sure.

I haven't visited in a while. It was close to 2 PM so it was empty, but as soon as we sat down, customers came one after another. It's like I brought my companion (laughs). The shop feels homey and unpretentious, which is nice. I ordered a mini katsu bowl set with tanuki udon, salad, pickles, and miso soup with green onions for 1400 yen. My companion ordered tenzaru for 1600 yen including tax, which is quite reasonable. The mini katsu bowl is voluminous, the katsu is soft and not salty, and the udon is firm and delicious. When I asked my companion about the tempura, they were satisfied and said it was delicious because it was crispy and not hard. The soba is also delicious and was eaten up quickly. Set meals are recommended because you can enjoy various flavors.

Went at 14:00 on Sunday. There are 11 tables in the shop. About 70% full. Parking lot is full. - Mini tempura bowl and mini seiro set 1500 yen - Kenchin soba 1300 yen. Food is served exactly 20 minutes after ordering. The soba is delicious. The soup is little but thick. The tempura bowl is strong in flavor. The kenchin soba is delicious. Soba-yu will be brought if asked. BGM is jazz piano. The staff has a loud voice and is pleasant. Comfort is not bad. However, maybe because there are few staff, the finished dishes were left completely uncleaned, or they didn't come to refill the water, it's not quite enough. Food service is also slow. The owner seems to be hospitalized after this, maybe he is in poor health. But that has nothing to do with the customer. Parking lot is available but narrow and difficult to park. Oyster tempura seiro, the oysters are said to be from Hiroshima, but they were very delicious. The soba was also thin but felt edgy, which is my preference. The soba tsuyu and soba-yu were also good. The miso stewed udon was like a miso soup with lots of ingredients, and it was gentle and delicious. The warabi mochi for dessert was average, sobagaki shiruko felt a little better than that. The interior of the shop is Japanese modern with jazz piano playing in the background, which was good at first, but there was an old man talking loudly on the phone at his seat, which disturbed the atmosphere. Next time I want to just eat soba quickly and go home.

Went for a holiday lunch. 30 minutes before, the parking lot next door was full. Could enter immediately, I ordered the summer-only ume bukkake soba. My companion ordered the mini tempura bowl set menu. This set menu might be quite a good deal? The ume soba was also delicious. It felt a little bit like the amount wasn't enough though? The atmosphere was also very good!
