This is the traditional Japanese Ramen Tokyo style. I have been loving it since I was a kid. If you visit Hachiouji, you should try this Ramen. Highly recommend.

Visited in early May 2026 Cash only. Pay at the register first, receive a pick-sized meal ticket with the item name on it, then sit down. I chose the menma ramen🍜. The dark soup color surprised me, but it wasn't that salty. I can't explain it well, but it reminds me of ramen🍜 I ate as a child… The atmosphere inside is like an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant that might appear in a certain shochu commercial😌 Thanks for the meal😋

ラーメン竹の家, which also appears in a ファンキーモンキーベイズ song. My long-held wish finally came true. Both the exterior and interior feel like an old-fashioned ramen shop. Somehow the atmosphere is calming. I ordered a large ramen at the entrance, and it arrived in about 5 minutes. It feels like old-fashioned soy sauce ramen. A simple ramen that brings a sense of nostalgia. The soup has depth and feels like it seeps into your body. I think it's absolutely perfect after drinking. Thanks for the meal.

There are tables in the back too, so it's surprisingly spacious. I had the menma ramen for 1,080円. The soup and menma look like they'd have a strong soy sauce flavor, but they don't really, and it's simply tasty.

A nostalgic, old-fashioned soy sauce ramen. The shop has a Showa-era atmosphere too. I ordered a large chashu-men for 1180円. You buy a meal ticket (a tag?) at the entrance. Cash only. It tasted good; I think people who like this kind of flavor will like it. Both the noodles and toppings are simple overall. I felt the price was a little high.
