High quality sushi with moderate prices.

First visit. Sunday lunchtime; the private rooms seemed to have customers. A few people at the tables too. My husband and I sat at the counter. We ordered sushi individually to our liking. My husband had draft beer, sake, sweet potato shochu, and 白子ポン酢. The taste was fairly good. But inexpensive. The interior is spacious, calm, and clean, with very pleasant service. It feels like somewhere you could enjoy drinks at leisure while chatting with the sushi chef. There are plenty of dishes to accompany drinks, and next time I would like to bring our daughter in the evening. For 2 people, a few pieces of sushi of our choice, shirako, alcoholic drinks, and cola came to about 7 thousand yen. The parking lot is spacious and easy to use too, so I would definitely like to return. The private rooms might also make it good for gatherings or memorial services.

After quite a while, I went for nigiri sushi at 海えん right by Yamada Station. It comes with miso soup and chawanmushi. At 1000円 including tax, that is reasonable. The chawanmushi was delicious, as expected, and there were 10 pieces of sushi, including squid, salmon, tuna, sardine, yellowtail, shrimp, egg, and tuna salad. The sardine and yellowtail nigiri were delicious.

I happened to find it while walking and tried the weekend lunch for 1500円. The size was just right and the toppings were good, but the sushi rice was too soft,,,. The chawanmushi in the set could use a few more ingredients. The soup was aosa miso soup, but the stock tasted store-bought. I would prefer something like fish trimmings soup…. I really appreciated the water being served in a carafe, since I was thirsty from walking. The atmosphere and service were very good, and the restroom was spacious and clean. If it were nearby, I would like to visit again.

Since around spring 2022, I have been going to Hachioji for work, so I get off along the way at Yamada Station on the Keio Line and visit about once a month😊 It is a comfortable sushi restaurant with a calm atmosphere😄 The floor staff manager is a woman, and she is very gracious, attentive, and excellent at customer service👍👍 The sushi chefs are pleasant too♪ When the staff are good, the food🍣 is even more enjoyable👍 Of course, the food is fresh, the lunches are delicious, and the individual dishes come in a wide variety👍 Once you visit, its comfort makes you want to return🥰 That is the kind of place it is👍👍👍
