Well, it's been a while since we last had a meal with my older brother and his wife. We often go to くら寿司, but today we chose Chinese food at my sister-in-law's suggestion. The menu was 華ランチ. It's a set with soup, mapo tofu as the main dish, fried rice, 3 kinds of steamed dumplings and spring rolls, and almond tofu. We enjoyed the delicious meal, suddenly.

I used this place for a birthday. The food was delicious, and the staff were attentive, so we had a very enjoyable time. Next time, I think I'll try coming for lunch.

Lunch at 「海苑」 in Hachioji. Whenever I come here, the dish I crave every summer is 胡麻担々麺! The sesame has a strong roasted aroma and richness, with just the right heat and an exquisite balance. It's rich yet has a clean finish, a bowl that makes you want to drink every last drop of soup. The restaurant has a calm, clean atmosphere—an elegant Chinese restaurant often used for dining gatherings and events. Even at lunch, you can sense the careful preparation, making it a place you can rely on. Recommended when you want properly delicious Chinese food in Hachioji. The summer tantanmen in particular is something I look forward to every year!

Visited in March 2024. I came for lunch. Hmm, the flavor has declined. Considering the price of the course, both the dishes and portions were underwhelming. Chinese-run Chinese restaurants taste better and offer larger, more satisfying portions. I ate in the restaurant, but the kitchen staff's voices were quite loud. Perhaps it was the season, but hearing a loud sneeze made me a little concerned. The service from the front-of-house staff was good.

I'd like to applaud both the flavors and the hospitality. We came for lunch before stopping by コニカミノルタサイエンスドーム, and this restaurant is about a 10-minute drive from the facility. The impressive entrance made it seem a little intimidating, but inside it was very friendly, with a clientele suggesting it was well loved by locals. I'd researched beforehand and heard the tantanmen was delicious, so we had tantanmen, fried rice, spring rolls, and dim sum. All the dim sum was delicious. The shrimp shumai included with lunch was packed with springy shrimp and was fantastic. And the tantanmen was the best I've had in recent years. It had lots of chunky minced meat, something men would probably find irresistible! One of the restaurant's strengths was that all the staff were truly kind and treated us very courteously. Even though we had a child still eating baby food, they provided complimentary almond tofu after the meal, which delighted the children. Applause for the hospitality👏
