Around 25 years ago, I worked nearby and ordered delivery from here. Nihachi soba with kakiage, 1190 yen + 300 yen for a large serving. The large serving felt like a regular serving. The tempura was overly oily too. There was little dipping sauce, and no refills. Looking at the menu, a large serving + extra sauce was 450 yen. How stingy… The soba was nothing special either; I think the soba at Yamada Udon is far tastier. So this is what Masudaya has become… Disappointing. I really regretted not going to Marugo.
View on GoogleAn old-fashioned neighborhood soba shop that also delivers” 2021/8/16 I visited on Monday at lunchtime. “Tororo soba”: 870 yen (tax included, as are the following prices) Taste 3.2 points/Value for money 3.2 points The soba was somewhat soft, and its buckwheat aroma was not strong. The tororo (grated nagaimo yam) is topped with an egg yolk. There was a fairly generous amount of tororo too. I appreciated that the soba sauce was served separately, allowing you to adjust the amount to your preference. The sauce was slightly sweet and a little thick. Fine particles from the dashi (bonito flakes) remained in it. The soba cooking water was served at the same time as the soba. The menu includes “handmade nihachi soba.” Perhaps I should have ordered that.
View on GoogleThe large soba serving is like a regular serving. The mini tendon and mini curry portions are not enough even for a child. The mini tendon is tiny but costs 1200 yen. The glasses are not chilled. They should improve this.
View on GoogleI ordered the oyakodon set for 1200 yen. It tastes delicious, but the portion is small for the price.
View on GoogleI went with my grandchild. There was not enough consideration for small children, but we enjoyed the food. The soba and rice-bowl set was quite generous and filled us up. I chose the oyakodon and soba set, and it came with salad and fruit🙆 My grandchild kept asking to go here, so this is our second visit❗ My grandchild had a set meal, and I had sanma nyumen. It was delicious😁
