At 石川PA (outbound), 「Hachioji ramen」 is popular! This local Hachioji specialty features soy-sauce-based broth, pork back fat that coats the noodles and enhances their savory flavor, and the crunchy texture and sweetness of finely chopped onions. 「Super Spicy! Takana Rice」 is also a popular menu item with many fans. EV fast-charging station available/

I like this service area. Cosy rest stop for toilet, soveniours, food, mochi and more! It has interesting things like mochi and Fuji mountain theme soveniours like biscuits and key chains. There's even the giant flying squirrel plushie. There's a small stall selling pickled items and another sells all kinds of mochi. Also has pau and siumai stall. There's also yoshinoya here. Return tray at the same place next to yoshinoya.

The rest area in Japan is much better than those in the United States. It is similar to those I saw in China. The Ishikawa Parking Area has both up and down directions. This review is for the down direction. We stop at Ishikawa Parking Area on our way to Mt. Fuji. The rest area has many stores and restaurants. We bought some snacks and drinks there and relaxed for 30 minutes. The stores in the rest area have everything we need. Very clean and the workers are fast and polite. We didn't try the restaurants, but they all looked good.

After getting our rental car at Haneda, my wife had been driving for over an hour. We were happy to stop over here. But finding a vacant slot, to our surprise, wasn’t easy. And after parking, we relieved ourselves. My wife also bought a cup of coffee from a coffee vending machine that demonstrated the paradox of choices.

As a foreigner, this highway pit stop blows me out of the waters. I never seen a pit stop with restaurants that offer hot food, and shopping in one. Super clean with washrooms the size of a parking lot.
