With its tough, historic-looking exterior, it's located a little away from the city center. This time I had the tsukemen (special) topped with chashu. It was my first time here, and I was in the mood for noodles that were different from a refreshing animal-based broth, so this tsukemen hit the spot perfectly. The soup had nori, menma, a seasoned egg, wakame, and green onions, plus thick, cube-cut chashu with a nice chew. And then, the seasoned egg. The soup was soy-sauce based with a tangy kick, and the chili sprinkled on as an accent was spot on. It was seriously delicious. The flavor and chewiness of the noodles in particular were irresistible, so sweet that after eating the noodles I kept going back for more of that strong-flavored soup — I couldn't get enough! The way the staff cooked with such a serious look and their kind face when seeing me off were just too much/// It's a type of noodle shop you don't come across often, so I'll keep coming back 🙏🏻 Thanks for the meaaal 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

On weekends they open from 6 AM, so I went around 6:30. No parking. Inside there are counter and table seats. You buy a meal ticket from the ticket machine. There seem to be a lot of tsukemen options, while there are 3 kinds of ramen. Last time I ordered the regular ramen (1 serving of noodles, 750 yen), but this time I went for the extra-large (3 servings, 950 yen). It's Hachioji ramen with onions in it.

When I went out this way on my day off, I couldn't find a good place… then I found this ramen shop that's open from early morning It's across from the famous Minmin No parking, so I used a coin 🅿️ Maybe because the building is old, the sliding door at the entrance is really hard to open lol Buy a meal ticket from the ticket machine… large bills can't be used, but they'll break them for you Large chashu tsukemen with 2 extra seasoned eggs You can choose thin or thick noodles, but thick noodles take over 10 minutes Someone who came after me ordered thin noodles and theirs was ready right away The chashu and seasoned eggs are each served on separate plates It seems to be basically a one-person operation… but instead of handing it over the counter, they properly came around to serve it There are table seats too, and I guess they're served the same way… Since it was still before noon… there weren't many customers, so they were getting all sorts of things done while the noodles boiled Clearing tables, water pitchers… slicing chashu, washing dishes… watching them, not a single wasted movement As for the tsukemen itself: a sweetish soup with ichimi and seafood broth… it's like Hachioji ramen with dashi added The large serving of thick noodles was honestly too much lolol The chashu was neither too soft nor too firm… the seasoned egg was cut in half so it was easy to eat… As expected, the sweet soup does get old… I wonder if it'd feel different with thin noodles? Soup-wari is also available By the time I left, there was a line in front of Minmin across the street before it even opened lol I'd like to go again when I want ramen early in the day♪
