I had the sansaitororosoba (soba with wild vegetables and grated yam) and it was delicious. The portion is generous, the wild vegetables are well cooked and the grated yam provides a unique sticky slurp-ability to the chewy soba. It was a rather cold day so I opted for the hot version. The soup was very comforting and well seasoned. Definitely one of the best bowls of soba I've had. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I came around 11.30am on a Sunday and only had to wait 5mins to be seated and another 10mins for my soba to be served. Overall it was a satisfying meal!

I’m not gonna lie, I entered this store because I saw the cute Totoro at the entrance and I thought it was a signal! Once inside, the restaurant was also big and clean. I love restaurants that still have a tatami side. Everyday it gets harder and harder to find them. I ordered tamago don and it was super good, and after exercising in Takao san it was like a reward!

Had a very comforting late lunch at this restaurant after coming down from Mt Takao. Their tempura is very nice & I'm surprised to see fried shiso leaf in my tempura set.

Very friendly and polite staff here. Cosy and clean restaurant. Definitely try the Hiyashi Tororo Soba. Simply delicious!
