Many years of history! Wonderful service and unique Echigi Soba. Definitely going back! Thank you.
View on GoogleSoba shining in jade color, soup that kills sweetness quite a bit, and tempura fried dry, it was a perfect soba shop. Moreover, the construction of the shop is wonderful! Waterways with large koi are placed as if to surround the shop, which is very cool. It is a shop that you should definitely visit in summer.
View on GoogleEntered the shop at the same time as opening. I had Hegi Soba and whole Shimeji mushroom tempura. Volume was larger than I imagined, and the regular portion was enough to make me full. Soba was easy to swallow and had a chewiness that was very delicious. Above all, the freshly fried crispy Shimeji mushroom tempura was the best. I enjoyed it with matcha salt.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch. Parking is around the shop and on the north side, and the size is easy to park. Because it is a popular shop, the parking lot soon becomes full. The interior is spacious for a soba shop, and there is room in the seats, so families up to 4 people can sit enough. Also, the tatami room is a table, which also supports those with weak legs. For food, I chose a Tare-Katsu bowl and a small size soba. Like when I ate it in Niigata, it is a bowl where freshly fried pork cutlet is dipped in sauce, not egg. The sauce has a light taste and is easy to eat. Depending on your preference, it might be better to have a separate sauce so you can add sauce. For soba, I chose cold soup, but the soba is supple and chewy, and the soup has a strong dashi taste. The potato salad in the small bowl is exquisitely delicious. I waited about 30 minutes for the food to come out, but if you look at the atmosphere of the shop and the magnificent koi swimming in the moat outside the window, you won't care much.
View on GoogleIt's my first time in Yahiko today. I chose "Marugoto Shimeji Ten Hegi Soba" for 1,683 yen (tax included). Because it's expensive, I thought about ordering regular "Hegi Soba/Udon", but I still wanted to eat tempura, so I ordered this. I enjoyed the chewy noodles and the huge and crispy shimeji mushroom tempura. Shimeji mushroom tempura absorbs the soup, so the soup is not enough at all. Additional soup is charged. I reserved and paid with V-points, so cash is only 83 yen.
