I have a disability which makes waiting outside in the cold very painful, and the staff were more than willing to accomodate me and let me wait inside. Both the staff and the food were fantastic, and I won't hesitiate to recommend the restaurant to my friends.

Huge portions! I went in late March 2024 while shopping at ドンキホーテ. It is attached to the entrance/exit of ドン・キホーテ. You order and pay at the touchscreen ticket machine by the entrance/exit. I went in around 20:00. There are only counter seats inside, about 15 in total. I ordered すた丼 with extra rice. The bowl arrived 5 minutes after I sat down. The extra rice they served exceeded my expectations. Later, I checked their website and saw: “Carrying on the founder’s vision, a regular serving contains roughly 3 rice bowls’ worth of rice.” So the default serving was already large. Even as I wondered whether I could finish it, “Made with our ‘secret garlic soy sauce’ to bring out the fullest garlic flavor.” That, along with the raw egg, kept the rice going down, and I finished everything! The service was about what you would expect from student part-timers, and value for money was ◯. In the end, I headed to ドン・キホーテ satisfied.

I finally had a chance to stop by after a long time, so I went in. Even with a set, vegetables and miso soup now cost extra. The set’s 油そば was back, so I ordered it, but there were hardly any toppings and the portion had shrunk. It felt like わんこそば. If this is what you get for 290円, I wish I had not ordered it. It tastes good. But knowing how it used to be makes the current situation disappointing. Prices up, portions down—that was my impression this time compared with my memories of before. For set menus, I would prefer one clear package price rather than a format where you add individual items. The slightly disappointing aspects stood out this time. I probably will not stop by again for a while.
