Visited around 18:00 on Saturday. There were only 3 customers, so I was seated without waiting. That day I had “Daiko back-fat shoyu ramen + seasoned egg.” It was 800円+100円. There is a menu with photos, but I ordered from the menu posted at the counter without looking at it, so I ended up with double seasoned eggs! Is the soup chicken-bone based? It's a light, classic chuka soba broth with a little back fat floating on top. The noodles are medium-thin and slightly wavy, typical chuka soba noodles. The default cooking gives them a slightly soft texture. The toppings are quite lavish: 3 slices of chashu, 5 sheets of nori, 3 thick pieces of menma, naruto, wakame, and 1 whole seasoned egg. The chashu is fall-apart pork belly, well seasoned and incredibly delicious! Items with Daiko in their names seem to be the equivalent of special or fully loaded versions. The surprising thing is the price—even a set with half a portion of fried rice costs under 1000円. Payment is in cash after eating. There is parking for 2 cars about 50m west of the restaurant. It looks like a private home's yard, so it might be hard to identify. It's not the easiest place to visit unless you're local, but considering the flavor, portions, and cost, I think it's an exceptionally good restaurant!

2026.5.5 First visit for a slightly late lunch🐾 The automatic door was broken, so I opened it manually🤣 There was 1 customer eating at the counter, so there must be a staff member? The owner?… Anyway, I sat at a table and looked at the menu👀✨️ Ordered Daiko shoyu ramen, spicy miso green onion ramen, gyoza, and half a portion of fried rice! The owner was working in the kitchen at the back😆 It seems he runs the place alone. The ramen & half fried rice arrived first. Hmm. Smells good. The long green onions in the spicy miso ramen were chopped quite roughly, which felt a bit careless… I can live with pieces not being cut all the way through, but the thick cuts didn't have a pleasant texture, so they weren't to my taste. The spicy miso had just the right heat and was delicious😋 The shoyu ramen was light and easy to eat. This one felt ordinary. 5 gyoza for 350円! Cheap, right? They were crisp, with not too much filling, so they didn't sit heavily. The half portion of fried rice was so generous it seemed to contain a whole bowl of rice! The grains were nicely separated and went well with the gyoza😋 Overall, the flavors were quite ordinary, but it was tasty. I was surprised by how low the prices were across the board. Thank you for the meal♪♪♪

My first visit. It was after midday on Monday, so I got in without waiting. I ordered the ramen set. You can choose shoyu, salt, miso, or back-fat ramen. It comes with 5 gyoza, half a serving of rice, a boiled egg, and pickles for the surprising price of 850円. The flavor suited my taste too, so I was very satisfied. Next time I'll order a different ramen.

I had a large salt back-fat ramen! I'm from Sapporo, and it tastes very similar to a delicious shio ramen shop I used to frequent there—really tasty😎lol👍 It's not crowded either, so it's a hidden gem! Be aware that unless you request firm noodles, they normally come out a little soft!

I'm lucky enough to have Daiko within walking distance of home. Delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The back-fat shoyu ramen in particular is delicious enough to make you sigh. The owner now handles everything alone, from cooking to serving, so you might struggle to find a moment to order. But he comes out with dishes fairly often, so I think it's fine to call out then. He works methodically and in order, so you don't end up waiting an incredibly long time overall. It looks tough on his own, but I hope he continues serving us for many years.
