BRING CIRCULAR TAKAO
【3 minutes from 高尾山口駅】A relaxing café surrounded by nature, where you can enjoy craft beer, light meals, coffee, and more. Located at the foot of 高尾山, 「BRING CIRCULAR TAKAO」 follows the concept of “expanding circular experiences,” selling sustainable apparel and collecting used clothing, while also offering rich-flavored coffee made from carefully selected environmentally considerate beans, food (lunch and snack menus), and craft beer. It can be enjoyed in a wide range of situations: a coffee break before hiking, takeaway onigiri perfect for a meal at the summit, or a craft beer toast after descending…

Pros: - Chill environment, nice outdoor seating - friendly enough staff Cons: - The cafe seems like an afterthought to the outdoor shop. The drinks and food are quite overpriced and sparse — for the bagel option, they literally just give you a cold bagel (different flavors available) not even toasted or with olive oil, salt etc to make it more palatable. At 700 yen, the coffee/tea is also a rip off. - the cafe is not very sustainability, having only disposable paper cups available even for eat-in customers. - by 11:30, they only had one onigiri left and no morning sets. Clearly no one is making more rice balls for the lunch crowd All in all, I recommend coming for a quick coffee if you can find space outside to sit and dont mind the higher price they command.
View on GoogleWe were looking for a place to drink coffee before going to Mt. Takao. Luckily we passed by this store/cafe on our way. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. It has a camping vibe. I ordered the Iced Latte. It was a bit pricey but it was good. Would love to try the bagel next time which is only available during weekdays.
View on GoogleHad the 2 types of onigiri and the chai soda. They were able to accommodate us 15 minutes before closing. The food was exactly what we needed and the soda was refreshing after a 3 hour hike. It was also the only thing opened in the area. The atmosphere is awesome, it’s a very trendy place. There’s a laid back outdoor space sit down outside in the back. I like the face that they recycle the plastics.
View on GoogleShockingly rude. Got told to leave WHILE waiting for my coffee to be made. Barista hates customers and life.
View on GoogleThey had 2 gluten free cakes when I visited: a gluten free pound cake and a basque cheesecake. There’s a chill seating area in the very back.
