I searched for this restaurant because we were planning to go to Costco afterward, and it turned out to be a nice choice for my husband’s birthday lunch celebration. The staff quickly confirmed our reservation, which I really appreciated. The location is a bit residential and situated on the ground floor of a residential building, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking carefully. A big plus is that there is free parking available for customers, which made our visit very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the restaurant. The interior is well-designed, stylish, and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the table next to us was quite loud, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal and the ambiance. The food itself was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. However, the serving time was a bit longer than we expected, especially for a lunch visit. Overall, it was a good dining experience with great food and friendly service. With a bit better pacing and noise control, it could easily be even better. We would still consider coming back again.
View on GoogleI had the prix fixe dinner at “Atelier” in Minami-Osawa. You can choose your appetizer, main, and dessert to suit your taste, so it's a course you can enjoy right from the time you spend choosing. The appetizer was carpaccio of fresh fish from Toyama. That day it was red flounder, a refreshing dish accented with ayu fish sauce and paired with mizu eggplant and tomato. The Genovese made with TOKYO X from Nishitama used a short pasta called “trofie,” which I was having for the first time. It was chewy with a strong bite, went well with the Genovese sauce and vegetables, and left a strong impression. For the main I chose Hida beef from Gifu braised in red wine. The meat was so tender it fell apart, and the richness of the red wine sauce layered with the umami of the Hida beef was addictively delicious! I enjoyed it to the very end with potato purée, caponata, and homemade focaccia. Dessert was a refreshing cassata and pineapple sherbet. The original tableware that adorned the dishes was lovely too, making it a dinner to enjoy with both the eyes and the palate. Next time I'd like to try a different combination. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleA casual Italian place you can easily drop by. The prices are affordable, and I think you can feel quality beyond what you pay. From the outside, it's a tenant on the ground floor of an apartment building, and it somehow has a bit of a big-box retailer vibe, so I was a little worried about how good it would be, but once I went, it was nothing but moments where I thought it was better than expected. I wanted to use points, so I made a reservation. It was a weekday; I booked around 10:00 the same day and went at 12:15. Whether you reserve or not, you can choose à la carte or a course. Since it was my first time, I ordered the aglio e olio with lemon-scented Hokkaido water octopus and summer vegetables (2180 yen tax included). It comes with salad, bread, and quiche. My family member had the Bolognese with Hachioji vegetables and Hidaka beef (1980 yen tax included). The pasta was properly al dente and nice to eat. Five slices of lemon-scented water octopus, olives, zucchini, garlic, onion, tomato, and so on were tossed with the pasta while keeping their freshness. Even though it's a single dish, with salad, bread, and quiche included and this level of finish, I thought it was plenty. The salad that came first was only moderately chilled, but the lettuce was fresh so it was crisp and juicy, and the dressing apparently uses carrot, but it had no sourness at all and tasted freshly made. The focaccia was well baked, with a crispy crust and a springy crumb, finished with rock salt and herbs, and it was delicious; the quiche was delicious too. I separately ordered tea and coffee as options, both 380 yen tax included. The tea was an Earl Grey properly steeped from loose leaves. For 380 yen, that's over-the-top quality♪ The staff were polite, never stopped smiling, and were friendly, so I couldn't ask for more. The food was of ample quality, the service was ample, and the atmosphere inside was calm and comfortable, and with prices not much different from a family restaurant, I recommend it. A casual Italian place you can enjoy easily (^^).
View on GoogleI visited for dinner. I reserved the grilled beef ichibo (rump cap) course. I was very satisfied. How should I put it, I felt everything was very carefully thought out, made, and served. The appearance, the balance with the tableware, the fine balance of flavors: there was nowhere that corners were cut, and I found it beautiful. Looking closely at each dish, I could feel very meticulous attention. They grated citrus zest over the pasta, there were flowers on top, and there was something crunchy laid under the sherbet. The minestrone that came first was lovely starting with the bowl, hot and delicious, and the main grilled ichibo was wonderful too; I was very satisfied relative to the amount. The risotto was interesting too, with the crispy texture of the baked cheese and the tomato soup poured over it afterward. Right through to dessert, I enjoyed the meal with excitement and new discoveries. Ordering what you want à la carte is good too, but having dishes brought out that you probably wouldn't have chosen yourself, and encountering new discoveries and flavors you've never had, is really fun, and I think that's the true appeal of a course. The atmosphere was more casual than I expected, in a good way. And both the woman and the man on the floor gave very pleasant, polite, and kind service. The timing of the dishes and the explanations were all completely stress-free, making it a lovely, fun time. Thank you very much. I'd like to go eat there again. I'm 100 percent satisfied, but just one thing for the future. The directions by limousine bus, Keio bus, and on foot were all very hard to figure out. Also, there were small bones in the carpaccio and pasta, which was a letdown. (Because I don't like bones)
View on GoogleOn a weekday in May, I drove there for lunch while on work nearby, relying on Google Maps (reviews & map). From the seasonal menu I chose the “Toyama Bay firefly squid and spring vegetable aglio e olio,” the “ripe banana and walnut cake” for dessert, and coffee. Sorry I can't write a proper food review, but anyway, from the salad and the quiche-style omelet that pairs perfectly with the focaccia to the whole main, everything was satisfying, and I fully enjoyed it right down to the careful caramelization on the banana. I'm so jealous of everyone who can go there easily~!
