We ordered the Mapo Tofu and it was incredible! Also the prices were great and everyone was so friendly. If you are ever in Takao, make sure to stop by here. But just as a heads up, the menu is all in Japanese. Totally recommend this place :)

On the way back from visiting the grave, I came after seeing other people's reviews. Along the Koshu Kaido, but there is no parking, so I used a nearby coin parking. Inside the shop, it can't be called clean, but it feels like an old town Chuka shop. But, the menu is familiar with town Chuka. And, surprisingly cheap!! Even so, the volume is full, and the taste is also good!! Feels like a hidden town Chuka where you can eat until very full(*^^*)

When entering the shop, it wasn't cleaned and the smell of oil pierced the nose, the floor was slippery with oil and the seasonings on the table were covered in dirt w It was too bad to use... The owner's white apron and boots, does he work in a town factory!? I thought, it's so black, is it charcoal or what, it's mysterious how dirty it is to get that dirty... It really smells almost the same as the shop I've seen many times in the culinary poverty escape show w Although there were many reviews about the Showa atmosphere in the shop, I think there is a difference in meaning between a shop that is just not cleaned and became old and a good old Showa town Chuka shop that is used and cleaned and kept, but if the locals say that is the goodness of that shop! then that's fine. Just, maybe this is meddling, but if it were a little cleaner, I think that Showa feeling would be easier for new customers to enter. As for the taste, I ate half fried rice ramen, but the bamboo shoots were not drained and not seasoned, and the way of cutting onions typical of Hachioji ramen was rough. The char siu smelled a bit, and the fried rice was mushy. The price is cheap so I am grateful. If it is loved by the locals, I hope it becomes a shop that is also loved by new customers. While thinking so, thank you for the meal!

This is a town Chuka near Takao station. I will write at the beginning, the taste is good, but this is a shop that lacks cleanliness significantly. Inside the shop is dim, and the seasoning container makes you hesitate to touch it. Although the table is clean. I recommend those who don't like such things not to use it. I ate fried rice and gyoza. Fried rice is moist type, but still separated. Pepper is effective and delicious. The accompanying soup is normal. What surprised me was the gyoza. Big. A size that makes me think if it's more than twice the size of regular gyoza. Very juicy with plenty of meat and meat juice dripping. Delicious even without dipping anything. Fried rice is 600 yen and gyoza is 570 yen. Good taste, good amount, good value for money. Service is also not bad. Only the cleanliness is......
