Visited for lunch. The interior is clean, well ventilated, and comfortable. The meat speaks for itself. You can tell it's delicious just by looking. The seemingly light sauce has depth, bringing out the meat's flavor without overpowering it. The location is a little hard to find, but it's worth going. Highly recommended.
View on GooglePayPay accepted. I visited because of the June PayPay campaign in 福生. Family-friendly. You order using a tablet. The taste matches the price. Sauce is brought out rather than kept on the table. It's a shame the tan shio doesn't come with lemon. The gukbap also comes in a half portion, which is just right if you want a little more, but a downside was that some of the egg white hadn't set and was still transparent. With 30% back during the PayPay campaign, the meal was inexpensive.
View on GoogleThis is one of my top 3 yakiniku restaurants in Japan. I recommend the beef liver: fresh, sweet, and soooo delicious. The beef yukhoe is fragrant and sweet, with no unpleasant raw smell at all. Everything is fresh, clean, delicious, and the service is excellent. Even though I can't speak Japanese, the staff are very attentive. 10/10/10
View on GoogleMy first visit after finding it on Google Maps. The interior isn't new, but it's clean and has a calm atmosphere. We were shown to a table by the window with plenty of space. However, the bench seat against the wall felt a little high, while the chair opposite felt low. You order on a tablet. My companion and I both ordered 「上ロースと上ハラミのコンビランチ」 for 1800円, and I also ordered 「上タン塩」 for 1200円. Amazingly, the only things on the table were paper napkins and toothpicks, with absolutely no sauce, salt, pepper, spicy miso, or other condiments. I thought they might arrive with the food, but they didn't. I've been to many yakiniku restaurants, but this was my first experience of such an unbelievable situation. The 「上タン塩」 was thick, with a lovely, high-quality savory flavor. I'd like to say it was tender tongue-base meat worthy of its name, but... 1 of the 5 slices was clearly a different color and was tough. That 1 slice might have come from the middle rather than the base of the tongue. Also, the powdered seasoning sprinkled on it tasted like 味の素. I appreciated the chopped scallions being served on a separate plate. The combo lunch meat was quite good too, especially the harami. There was a good amount of meat, and I think 1800円 can be called inexpensive. However, I gave the rating shown for the following reasons. ・The meat is frozen. Not rock-hard, but served at such a low temperature that it's difficult to grill. Even when the surface is nicely cooked, the inside can still be raw, or it gets tough if you cook it longer. It's hard to make the most of otherwise good meat. ・The rice quality is poor. I finished it, but it was barely acceptable. ・The lunch plate's sides aren't tasty. Were the namul beans just boiled with no attempt at seasoning? The kkakdugi wasn't great either. ・There were two of us, so bring 2 pairs of tongs. So little consideration. ・I don't mind that the female floor staff are foreign, but their expressions were sooo gloomy throughout the service that I wondered if this was the reception desk at a wake. Don't dampen people's anticipation of enjoying a meal. It's a highly rated restaurant, but I don't think I'll return. Suited to people who don't worry about details and just want inexpensive meat.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. The meat was delicious despite the affordable prices. The yakiniku lunch is 1200円, but the combo with two kinds of meat for 1800円 feels like even better value. I chose the premium karubi and premium harami set. Both were delicious, but the premium harami was especially tender and recommended. Lunch includes meat, rice, wakame soup, namul, salad, oolong tea, and ice cream, making it quite substantial. We had our 1-year-old with us, and they were considerate of our child, so it's a place you can visit with kids. We ordered a half portion of gukbap for our child, and they accommodated requests such as leaving out garlic and disliked vegetables. Recommended because you can enjoy delicious domestic beef for about the same budget as a typical yakiniku chain.
