Fantastic ramen and an even better experience. The owner is a very kind and friendly older gentleman who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I had the spicy miso ramen, and it was incredibly rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. One thing to know: don’t underestimate the spice level. I normally order a 7 or 8 out of 10 at most places, but a level 4 here was much hotter than I expected! Start lower if you’re unsure. Also, don’t leave without asking for Hanban (¥150) at the end. They’ll turn your leftover broth into a delicious risotto-style dish, and it’s absolutely worth it. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.
View on GoogleBest ramen I've had since coming to the area. Service was fantastic and food was even better. Make sure you yen when you come in.
View on GoogleExcellent local ramen joint, with authentic, flavorful broth and homemade noodles. Very inexpensive (~1500Y or ~10USD with a beer and extra egg). Very quick service. Small vending machine that requires coins or 1000Y bills - cash only, then drop off ticket at counter. Spicy miso is the way to go. Food was out in less than 10 minutes and some of the best in Fussa.
View on GoogleVery limited seating! This place has the best ramen around the area. Smaller menu, but you will find something to like. The atmosphere is great with the friendly owner and the history of all the photos on the wall. There is a spice challenge and the ramen gets incredible spicy. Order the Honbon! The owner is active on Instagram keeping the hours and specials updated, and had a membership card at the moment for discounts!
View on GoogleFor me, they're a pillar of the community. The chef is a true ramen artist who threads the needle between making a darn good bowl of traditional ramen, while adding his own unique twists that experiment with what ramen can be. For atmosphere, you won't find a more welcoming authentic "local" vibe. The chef is a charming character who puts real passion and enthusiasm into making you feel welcome trying his food. Definitely a must-visit if you're new to Yokota looking for a new place to try.
