I thoroughly savored the many heartfelt dishes prepared with an extra touch of care. Learning that the owner had a small connection to the area where I live made for a lively conversation that day. My time in Fuchu City truly flew by, and I wholeheartedly enjoyed the evening on the Musashino Plateau. It was a truly blissful time. Thank you for the meal.

The owner and his wife were very nice, and I also met some lovely customers. The restaurant was quiet, and dishes such as the tempura made with Okinawan vegetables were excellent(^｡^) Thank you. I'll visit again. Definitely coming back!

My first visit to the renowned creative Japanese restaurant 「和楽 酔竹」. The owner's warm, attentive service put me at ease immediately, and the many dishes made with carefully selected ingredients impressed me. The focus on origin and freshness—seasonal fish from the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean, やんばるあぐー豚, and 常陸牛—really shines through in the food's flavors. I was very satisfied with the beautiful presentation and richly flavored selection. A recommended spot for comfortably enjoying authentic Japanese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

2024.9 I reserved for Saturday at 17時30分, so I arrived right as they opened｡｡ Since they'd just opened and there were no customers inside, I could choose any seat, so I sat at the table at the back of the tatami area｡｡ The table was a horigotatsu with a recessed footwell, so my legs didn't go numb and I was comfortable until I left｡｡ The draft beer was served in an ice-cold vessel too, and was very delicious｡｡ Everything served was delicious, including, of course, the otoshi｡｡ It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos｡｡ The chef, proprietress, and an employee—3 people in total—were running the place, and service was quick and very good｡｡ It's one of the places I'd definitely like to visit again｡｡

The food and drinks are fantastic. They also have the restaurant's own original alcoholic drinks. The manager is playful and fun too.
