I got off at this station on my way home from work. Right after entering, there's a ticket machine on the right. Seating is about 10 counter seats. I ordered a medium bowl with firm noodles. You get free rice and can choose the size. I was wearing a suit that day, and the man who seemed to be the owner, wearing glasses, was very attentive. He immediately asked, "Would you like an apron?" Water is self-serve, but since the shop is small, people who drink a lot of water might find it convenient to sit near the water cooler. The ramen is Iekei-style, but it's not overly salty and has a flavor I personally like. For those eating with rice, the "richer" broth might be recommended. When I started getting tired of the flavor, I added garlic and chili oil from the table condiments to enjoy it all the way to the end. As an aside, I was surprised how many customers asked to exchange money. Since Iekei ramen is a destination meal—you know you're going specifically for ramen—it's wise to exchange money beforehand. Why do they have a ticket machine? Probably to avoid staff handling cash and cut labor costs... By the way, this machine only takes thousand-yen bills and coins.
View on GoogleRenewed OPEN from today! It's very sad that the 4th generation manager Ipponyari-san is gone... Thank you for the always heartwarming service m(_ _)m Maybe because it's the launch timing, there are 4 staff members in total: 3 veterans and probably 1 part-timer. The service is also accustomed, and there are no complaints. I'm looking forward to the future. The inside of the shop is a bit hot, and I enjoyed the piping hot ramen while sweating. As for the taste, which is the most important thing, it's much milder than when Ipponyari-san was here, and it's easy for the general public to eat. The char siu might depend on your preference, but I felt it was a little lacking. If you order the noodles firm, they are firmly firm and this is delicious. Put in a lot of garlic and it's delicious ◎ The ticket machine has also become neat... It was very good to be able to get the nori or egg free coupon that is being distributed in limited quantities today and tomorrow. Thank you for being able to eat Iekei in Bubaigawara!!
View on GoogleHello, this is Sapio ✍️Yokohama Ramen Wakamusha ______________ 🍥Points ✅Dense Iekei Tonkotsu with a unique richness lurking in the back! ✅Variety of ramen menus ✅The first generation came from Musashiya (Shin-Nakano lineage). The second generation came from "Yamamotoya" in Shinjuku ✅Free rice! Iekei that can make you full with refills!! ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ [Score] 83 points ☆3.8 [Queue/System] At the time of visit, 2 people waiting outside・Ticket (buy in advance when waiting outside) [Taste] Tonkotsu Shoyu What I'm introducing today is "Yokohama Ramen Wakamusha". This is an Iekei ramen shop from the Musashiya Shin-Nakano lineage. Currently managed by the second generation, and the owner is from "Yamamotoya" in Shinjuku. Access is excellent as it is in front of Bubaigawara Station. If you hear the words second generation and from Yamamotoya, it might feel like a recent shop, but it was a shop with quite a bit of history. The owner also looks very veteran. Although the inside of the shop is relatively masculine, there are also female customers who come alone. By the way, rice is free and can be refilled. You will also be asked about the portion size. When I asked for a large, they said "It's about twice the medium portion, is that okay?". Of course it's okay! The performance that ensures a good shop to get full is shining brightly. ______________ 🟦Impressions ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ The soup is tonkotsu through and through!! It has a high-concentration impression with dense umami and texture. There is a unique richness behind that soup. An umami sensation unlike Iekei. Is this from the kaeshi? Personally, I felt that the taste was quite different compared to the usual Musashiya. The noodles are a bit soft even with a normal call. I also refilled the rice... Very full! It was a wonderful Iekei ramen shop rooted in the town. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI don't have a very refined palate so I can't do a food report well, but anyway, the balance between the noodles and soup is good and it's very delicious. I think the rich soup goes well with the rice that you can eat all you want for free. Amidst the popularity of mysterious ramen like red, yellow, blue, green, white, and black, try eating the regular ramen first, and you can see the high potential of this shop! The ticket machine only accepts thousand-yen bills and coins, so please be prepared.
View on Google06/05/2026 I visited for lunch. The slightly refreshing tonkotsu soup was very delicious. The char siu full of smoked flavor, not pork belly, was also delicious. Also, I forgot my parasol, but thank you for keeping it for me. See you again.
