A tendon you can't experience anywhere else! Their Kofun Tendon is brought to your table before they pour the tempura sauce over it, just like at some hamburger steak restaurant. Because it's served in an iron pot, the rice and tempura sauce scorch and become crispy and piping hot!! There was plenty of tempura too, making it a thoroughly satisfying dish. I'll be backー

We were shown to a semi-private space partitioned by curtains. Both the soba and tendon were delicious, but my personal top recommendation is the soba tea milk pudding♪ It was rich yet slid down so smoothly, and the topping, buckwheat grains perhaps? had a lovely texture. That alone guaranteed a return visit! Haha I'd definitely love to visit again😊
View on GoogleI think this is Edo-style soba with a firm, substantial chew. The dipping broth is strong and also leans toward old downtown Edo style, rather than letting a clean dashi flavor come to the forefront. People from Kansai might find it a little soy-sauce-heavy. Although it's in the Tama area, it felt downtown-style, and I really liked it. This time I had tsuke seiro with winter vegetables and chopped duck, which I think is an outstanding dish with delicious vegetables.
View on GoogleNovember 2024, weekend lunch The parking lot is always full. I'd passed this place dozens of times but kept giving up on going in. Today I came determined, figuring I could get in if I arrived at opening time♪ I arrived around 11:15, 15 minutes before opening, and entered the on-site parking lot. About 5 cars were already parked. There were still spaces, so I managed to park. They sell medaka fish at the back of the grounds. As I waited, thinking how peaceful it all was, I noticed people unexpectedly heading inside. Surely not, I thought, and went to the entrance. It turned out we could enter; they actually opened at 11:00. Several groups were already eating inside. I went in and was shown to a table on the right. The exterior had made me imagine a more traditional Japanese interior, but the surprisingly stylish design made a good impression. We ordered vegetable tempura and maitake tempura, my wife ordered 100% buckwheat soba, and I ordered warm soba. The tempura came first! Piping hot and delicious! The maitake was juicy! The soba was perfectly enjoyable, and the 100% buckwheat soba was neither dry nor broken into short pieces, so it went down easily♪ A relaxing lunch. I'm satisfied. We finished everything, paid by credit card, and left. Outside, the parking lot was full, with 3 cars waiting, the familiar scene I always see♪ I'm glad we went in early! Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleMy top recommendation is the cheese tempura for 550円. It's ordinary cheese, but lightly battered and piping hot, and you get a full 6 sticks of cheese tempura. I thought there would be just 1 piece of cheese, so that made me happy. Next is the soba tea milk pudding. It tastes exactly like soba tea. Gently sweet and delicious. The soba was nicely chilled and the tempura piping hot; I enjoyed some delicious tempura soba. The interior is stylish and the restroom is very clean too. It might have been nice if they hadn't taken the menu away, so I could use it to plan my next visit or check the names of interesting dishes other people ordered. I could also sense consideration in the notice for customers with children, that never-ending issue. I imagine they didn't really want to write it, but arrived at that wording after much thought. Thank you for the meal.
