This place is small and cozy. This sushi is so fresh and compares to the sushi in the fish market. They also have really good sake. One glass really did the trick and it didn't taste strong. 🥹 The chief did a great job and puts the right amount of wasabi in the sushi already. And the hostess poured as my husband called it 120% hospitality in the sake cup. I really liked this place and plan to come back!
View on GoogleA small but homely sushi restaurant located about 5 minutes from Fuchu station. My family visiting from overseas were able to get three seats and the chef was very quick to respond to all of our requests. Service was very great and they were very accommodating to us. The portions of sushi were extremely generous, definitely much larger than other places and they had a wide variety of different fishes on their menu. I think compared to other sushi spots in the area, it has a very homey feel and a little bit more of a laid-back vibe to it.
View on GoogleFriendly service, a huge selection of dishes both cooked and sushi. And so so so affordable for what you get! Was surprised how it wasn't that busy despite being a Saturdaym definitely a hidden gem near Fuchu Station.

View on GoogleReturn visit I returned at the end of summer. I had 極選 for 1.5 people. Previously I sat at the counter, but this time I came after noon and there happened to be no other customers, so I took a table. The platter presentation was impressive. I enjoyed it. The rice had been firm when I visited in winter, but my impression changed. Delicious. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal. First visit Someone apparently called the 多摩 area a sushi wasteland. I visit sushi restaurants on my days off, and indeed I haven't encountered real sushi. I came for lunch that day, around 13:00 after the lunchtime rush. I ordered 極選1.5, and at the counter they served 2 pieces at a time... If you're going to serve without considering the diner's pace, you might as well bring it in a sushi tub. This is the problem with neighborhood sushi shops. It's tough if you're not a regular. Pressed with all their might, though I don't want to think this is normal. Some places change their fish between lunch and dinner, but the rice stays the same. It wasn't vinegared rice—can you call this sushi? There was no wasabi kick, just rice served in densely packed lumps. The 2.0 score is entirely for the delicious miso soup. It wasn't made with fish scraps; it had a properly prepared stock and was delicious. They weren't unpleasant, though. Is the rice always this hard? If so, surely everyone wouldn't call it delicious. I'll visit again, but if the rice is the same next time, I suppose that's their style. Every encounter is unique; there are days like that.
