I rarely give low ratings to ramen, but it was a taste I've never had before 💦 The shop was also dark, making for a gloomy lunch.

I ordered mapo noodles for lunch. It's 750 yen including salad, almond tofu, and a small rice. Very cheap. The soup for the mapo noodles isn't thick, it's a thin soup, and I'm happy there's a lot of tofu. The spiciness is normal. The rice that comes with it is quite voluminous. There are no single seats, so even if you come alone, you'll be guided to a 4-person table, so it's spacious. The inside of the shop is dark and Chinese was being spoken by the staff. It's voluminous and the cost performance is the best.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Bubaigawara Station, located at the very end. I've been curious about it for a while but the timing wasn't right, and today was my first time entering. Maybe because it was a bit late for lunch at 1:00 PM on a weekday, there were only 2 other customers sitting at tables. There were no staff around, so I was free to sit wherever I liked and look at the lunch menu. Recently, many places use tablets, but it's very nice to be able to look at it carefully on stable paper media. I really wanted to eat fried rice, so I ordered the E lunch. It came with ramen and was quite voluminous, but the egg fried rice was delicious.

I went to the Chinese restaurant "Wanryuki" located at the end of the shopping street after getting off at Bubaigawara Station. It's a shop I've been curious about for a while. Noodles were on the signboard in front of the shop. It's very cheap at 700 yen including tantanmen, rice, salad, and almond tofu. I went at night, and this was tempting. As soon as I entered, that menu wasn't there... Apparently, it's a lunch service. The tantanmen on the dinner menu is 650 yen, which is still very cheap. Since I was there, I ordered it with 190 yen gyoza. The tantanmen has a rich spiciness and a taste typical of a Chinese restaurant. I think it's good that it's not too spicy. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles. This is also quite delicious. Tantanmen might be best ordered at a Chinese restaurant. Among these town Chinese restaurants, shops run by authentic Chinese people feel cheaper. And delicious. I think the tantanmen is also being gradually changed to a taste that Japanese people like.
