Super cute and nice cafe. The food was okay. I had the cheesecake and it was good.
View on Google蔵カフェ” stands along Kyu-Koshu Kaido in Fuchu, Tokyo. A lovely cafe that suits this historic town. A tearoom making use of a historic building belonging to “野口酒造店,” a sake brewery dating back to the Edo period. The storehouse-style exterior and warmth of the wood create an atmospheric space that makes you feel transported back in time just by walking through it. The antique interior puts your mind at ease. On holidays it bustles with sightseeing visitors, but on weekdays time passes leisurely with local regulars in the calm interior filled with soft light. I had the pumpkin pudding and sake lees latte. The moment the pudding enters your mouth, its jiggly texture combines with the moistness of cake, spreading a gentle sweetness. The pumpkin's sweetness and smoothness feel lovely on the tongue. The original sake lees latte perfectly combines a rich aroma like warm amazake with the smoothness of milk. Adding ginger powder gives it a subtly spicy accent, letting you enjoy changing flavors in a single cup. There is also a daily lunch on the menu, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal with coffee or dessert. A cafe where you can spend a soothing moment for body and mind, enjoying handmade sweets and gentle drinks in a storehouse space that blends history with the present. A place you'll definitely want to stop by when exploring Fuchu.
View on GoogleIt was a cafe attached to a sake brewery☕️ A slightly dim space with a relaxing atmosphere. Today's cakes were cheesecake and pumpkin pudding✨ Both are favorites, so I had both! The simple, not-too-sweet Basque cheesecake that paired with American coffee, and the simple pumpkin pudding made for a satisfying time🍮 The simple, healthy-looking lunch was also very intriguing!!
View on GoogleVisited for the sake lees latte (HOT) and sake lees cheese toast. They mentioned the cheesecake had just been baked and invited me to try it, so I ordered it, but it was thoroughly chilled cheesecake. My first reaction was, the cheesecake isn't warm… but it was delicious, so I was satisfied🧀 The sake lees flavor was quite strong in both the latte and cheese toast, so opinions may differ, but I like sake lees, so I enjoyed them🤍 For the sake lees cheese toast, I wished they offered an option to change the cheese to blue cheese, even for an extra charge.
View on GoogleI've visited several times for lunch or a break. Perhaps because it was outside the lunch rush, I could get in right away. This time lunch was a shirasu rice bowl. The food arrived in a reasonable time, and I could enjoy a relaxed lunch. The sake lees latte afterward lived up to its reputation, with a clear sake flavor that left me very satisfied.
