GAZEPPO
General store GAZEPPO is a small general store that opened on June 30, 2018, in Shiraitodai, Fuchu City, which stocks many products made by Asian (especially Balinese and Thai) handiwork. Using the natural texture of the materials as they are, we mainly sell Asian goods that have a warmth added by human hands in the midst of simplicity, and a rough, unpretentious sense of familiarity. The owner himself goes to the local area to purchase products directly. The shop's mascot character is a wood-carved "frog". The laid-back expression and the friendly, quietly standing presence are perfect for the shop's desire that "anyone here can feel relaxed and at ease without hesitation"...

The shop was closed for about 2 years due to the owner's circumstances, but it has recently reopened! However, it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 am to 4 pm. There is one new poster girl at the shop who will welcome customers. Everyone, please come and visit. Written on May 22, 2023. It's been about 2 years since it opened near my house, it's an Asian goods store centered on clothing, folk crafts, and accessories from Indonesia and Thailand. You can feel the owner's good taste in the selection of goods and the atmosphere of the shop. The cute little frog figurine, which was designed by the owner himself and made by local craftsmen, is the shop's signature product. Besides that, there are also some musical instruments such as Indonesian-made kalimba (an instrument played with fingers, also called finger piano) and maracas. I liked the kalimba so much that I ended up buying two. Because it's near my house, I visit often, and the owner never shows an unhappy face while listening to my useless chatter. Everyone, please visit once. Additional note: Since then, I bought one more kalimba. Because ethnic clothing and accessories with good taste are the main items of the shop, ladies should definitely visit. ...Recently, a strange cactus-like plant has been placed near the entrance of the shop. It is said that if you pray, you will get good luck (joking). Additional note: The shop is working hard to stay open despite the recent state of emergency declaration again, and despite this situation, the shop's selection of goods is becoming more and more complete. When I leave for work in the morning, if I pass the road in front and the shop is open, I feel, "Ah, they are working hard today, I should work hard too." Additional note: As of March 2022, the shop is taking a short break, but I look forward to them reopening.
