Very nice immersive experience you can recline your seat and enjoy the panoramic projection. Museum entrance fee is 300jpy and ticket for planetarium show is 600jpy. I visited on weekday 1300 there wasn't many people.
View on GoogleIt was nice experience, kids enjoyed the show.
View on GoogleThe planetarium was really great. It was also hydrangea season, so I got to enjoy those too. The biggest draw is the giant 23-meter-diameter dome screen, one of the largest in the Kanto region. A hybrid system combining the high-performance optical projector "CHIRON III (Keiron 3)" with 4K digital imagery spreads a breathtakingly realistic and beautiful sky of about 100 million stars across the entire space overhead. A key feature is the heartwarming "live commentary" by dedicated presenters. They guide you through that night's sky and seasonal astronomy topics in a gentle, evocative way. There's also an appealing variety of programs, such as collaborations with popular anime, a "Baby Planetarium" that families with small children can enjoy with peace of mind, and music programs for adults to quietly unwind. Together with the nature and historic buildings of the vast Kyodo-no-Mori, it's a luxurious dome space where you can savor the romance of the heavens with all five senses. [Opening Hours] Hours: 9:00–17:00 (last admission to the museum until 16:00) *Planetarium show schedules vary by day (each show about 45 minutes). Closed: Mondays (if a public holiday, the following weekday), year-end and New Year holidays [Admission] *A separate "museum admission fee" is required to view the planetarium. Museum admission: adults 300 yen / junior high school students and under 150 yen Planetarium admission: adults 600 yen / junior high school students and under 300 yen
View on GoogleI've visited several times since last year to watch the Yuru Camp△ planetarium show. The narrator's voice is so soothing that I nearly fall asleep before the main program even starts.
View on GoogleI entered the planetarium using the Grutto Pass. This time I watched the "Yuru Camp△" planetarium program. It used to be shown only at Fujikawa Rakuza, but since July 2025 you can see it in Fuchu as well. The first half is an introduction to that day's night sky over Fuchu City. The planetarium machine here even reproduces the colors of the stars, so you can see a truly beautiful night sky. The sky simulating the city lights being turned off, Milky Way included, was especially breathtaking. The Yuru Camp△ part is based on Season 3 of the anime. I got to enjoy the night skies over Okuoikojo Station, Abt Ichishiro Campground, Lake Motosu, and more.
