Visited again after a very long time! The Akaboshi beer was reasonably priced! Mock liver sashimi?? It was delicious and very generously portioned! The shishamo were big and delicious too! Everyone at the counter gets along, and I think it's a homey place! It seems to be part of a group with 磯吉 and others! I'd like to visit again!

I love grilling my own yakiton❣️ Visited for the first time in about 2 years. The yakiton place in Bubaigawara was full, so I walked 15 minutes from there... Called to check for empty seats along the way... Arrived at 18:00 on a weekday; there were 6 people, about 3割 full. Solo diners go to the counter. Immediately looked through the yakiton menu. Unable to resist the times, prices seem to have risen considerably since before. Happy to see large bottles of Akaboshi❗️ Grilled shiro, kashira, and cartilage myself. Also had gatsu sashimi. The meats for grilling are cut only after you order. The hard parts of the cartilage are carefully trimmed so it's easy to eat. The bottled beer was soon gone, so I added a white Hoppy set! Here the spirit, the Hoppy mixer, and the mug to combine them are all served separately, which is nice because you can mix it to your liking. Of course, you can refill the spirit too. Ordered today's recommended pickled yamagobo as a palate refresher, then called it a day... The bill was a little over 5000円. A bit pricey⁇ Heading to nearby Fuchu Jiro...

It was my first visit, and the staff, owner, and regulars were all wonderful, so I had a very enjoyable time. The best.
