The best thing about this shop is the complementary lemon/pineapple water. Apart from that, it's exotic coffee served with an artisanal hipster flair. If you like stylish, expensive, hot beverages, this place is for you.
View on GoogleThe coffee and café au lait are of course delicious, but what's surprising is that you can buy generously sized scones at an affordable price. The occasional salty note brings out the scones' gentle sweetness and pairs well with coffee. There's a spacious rest area in front of the shop where we could leisurely enjoy drinks and food. The green curry is delicious too! I appreciated being asked whether I liked cilantro. It's a place where moms with babies or small children can enjoy a relaxed outing as if taking a stroll.
View on GoogleThe バスク風チーズケーキ is so delicious! It goes well with coffee. Lightly warming the チョコチップスコーン in a toaster gave it a crisp texture, and that was incredibly delicious too.
View on GoogleA shop offering thoughtfully prepared international dishes, exquisite treats, and freshly ground specialty coffee! Recommended for lunch. I'd been curious about Fuchu's wholesale market for ages, but didn't imagine such a lovely shop was inside…another great discovery, and I'm glad I went! They have a whole lineup of dishes that make the most of their market location. You can enjoy カルビ飯 and ラム飯 using meat from the market, as well as international dishes such as 魯肉飯 and シンガポールチキンライス. This time I had 魯肉飯 with skin-on pork belly simmered until meltingly tender, coffee carefully selected right from the sourcing of its beans, and spring-only 桜あんプリン. It was so hard to choose with dishes like シンガポールチキンライス and green curry on the menu! I want to try them all. Do try the coffee too, which pairs with both sweet-savory meals and sweet desserts. What surprised me most was the “桜あんのプリン.” I thought a pâtissier somewhere must have developed it; it was the most delicious dessert in my personal pudding history! They were delighted when I told them, and I also loved the friendly, homey service♡ Apparently, a staff member worked hard developing the pudding, adjusting its firmness and chewiness to just the right balance. I'm planning to go back and have it again. By the way, 桜あんプリン is only available in spring. Apparently it'll switch to regular あんプリン afterward, but I'm still excited! The texture and taste of that pudding, springy like mochi, were unforgettable. We're gradually heading into the rainy season and hot weather, but Fuchu Market seems enjoyable even on those days. I'll definitely have it again when I go back♪
View on GoogleAn Asian food shop opened inside the market by “おにくの ミンスマン.” ミンスマン is a shop where you can buy truly delicious meat cheaply. While chatting with a staff member during my shopping, I learned that they also ran a restaurant inside the market, so I visited. Since I love lamb, I ordered “ラムめし” with kebab sauce. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a shop that looked like a makeshift shack. But,, I was wrong. The lamb was delicious! The slightly tangy kebab sauce matched the lamb too. The rice was brown rice cooked a little firm. Every part was delicious! I ate it while murmuring my approval. More than simply tasting good, the balance and combination of flavors were amazing! I think it showed the taste and sensibility of a cook with an excellent palate. It was so delicious that I chatted with a staff member on my way out. The popular, best-selling dishes are ・ルーローファン ・シンガポールチキンライス Personally, I'd like to have “ラムめし” again next time, but I'm even more intensely curious about the other dishes. “黒毛和牛オーバーライス” or “ルーローファン,” or “シンガポールチキンライス” because the chicken rice I had in Singapore long ago was delicious. I can't decide. Honestly, right now I'm thinking of arriving hungry and eating 2 dishes. *If you found this article helpful, I'd be happy if you pressed the “Like” button<(_ _)>
