When I was wandering around the Bubaigawara shopping street at night, I was suddenly lured by the scent of old lanterns and iron plates and sucked into Okonomiyaki Chiaki. It's just a one-minute walk from the station, and when I went up the stairs at the entrance, a wide space spread out and I was surprised for a moment, 'Oh, there are more seats than I thought'. The shop itself feels like a long-established store, and the number of seats is quite wide with about 48 seats, and the style of grilling yourself on the table iron plate is quite exciting. When I was worried about how to grill, the people who looked like regulars who came in after that were used to it, and they flipped the dough. But honestly, the dough was a little floury, and even if you adjust the taste with sauce and toppings, it wasn't 'very delicious!', and it was more like old-fashioned or an extension of home. There are also other people's opinions that the price is reasonable and the budget is often less than 2,000 yen. I walked in just before the last order, but they were open until late, and I was grateful that they extended the last order a little after the time passed. The grandmother at the shop manages it alone, and that atmosphere is conversely homey, and it is perfect for the mood of 'let's grill slowly and enjoy'. It's not a bad choice when you want to taste the atmosphere like an old shopping street canteen that is a little different from a normal okonomiyaki shop.

Second visit this year. The interior is spacious and I was able to eat slowly. It is an old-fashioned okonomiyaki shop that makes you feel nostalgic where you can feel like taking a time trip to Showa.

Old-fashioned okonomiyaki located a 1-minute walk from Bubaigawara Station. There is an entrance when you go up to the 2nd floor by stairs. Seats have table seats and tatami mats. The interior was a quiet and relaxing space. You can also use it as a banquet place in groups. With an atmosphere that is somehow nostalgic, it was a feeling of returning to Showa passing through Heisei in the Reiwa era. Okonomiyaki and monjayaki menus can all be ordered for around 1,000 yen. The staff responded politely such as seat guidance, when ordering, and when paying.

A shop that has been taking care of children since they were babies. Because it is tatami, when there are few customers, you can eat slowly while letting the baby sleep on the side. Currently, only the mom is managing the shop alone, but previously there was a master. Both the master and mom are very kind and flexible, and they are people who treat small children gently even if they make a noise. Once, when I reserved for a family gathering, they listened to our wishes without an unpleasant face even though it was outside business hours, it is really a very good shop. Okonomiyaki also has old-fashioned deliciousness and warmth. I hope this shop will continue for a long time with mom who is healthy forever.
