This place is fantastic! It's a small little shop with a lot of character, great coffee and great food too! One of the best things is how cheap their breakfast set is. For only ¥100 over the price of the coffee you get a huge price of tasty toast, a hard boiled egg, a cookie and a salad. This worked out to less than $5 USD including the coffee (May'22). This is also the only coffee shop I've ever been too that offered Aeropress Coffee, which is my favorite way to make coffee. Oh, it's also right next to the beautiful Okunitama Shrine.
View on GoogleChill atmosphere for an inexpensive, delicious breakfast (I had blueberry waffle). The trains are a fun décor. Owner(?) had some basically English to compliment my basic Japanese.
View on GoogleRight beside Okunitama Shrine, this is a truly individual, free-spirited coffee shop that doesn't feel standardized. The breakfast set for an extra 200円 with a drink is good value, with very thick toast, salad, and a boiled egg. They also pay attention to brewing methods, and apparently you can order French press and other styles. I had iced coffee, and it was easily as large as a certain chain's L size, so it was satisfying, with a proper coffee flavor. At 700円 total, it was good value too. There's an order counter immediately inside; you order there before going to a seat farther in. Speed isn't its selling point, so I'd recommend visiting when you have time.
View on GoogleThe exterior looks a little aged, and the entrance area is simply built. Still, the signs and handwritten menus are clearly displayed, so it's easy to tell whether it's open ☕ The impression changes once inside: the table seating is neatly arranged, and the space is more orderly than expected. Notices say Wi-Fi and power outlets are available, suggesting the facilities also cater to people coming to work 💻 The board beside the entrance lists light options such as “amazake 400円,” “oshiruko 500円,” and “curry 480円,” with prices generally kept low. The setup works for either a quick meal or a longer stay 🍛 Although the step at the entrance makes it a little awkward to enter, the calm interior offers a contrast with the outside. It suits those looking for a cafe based on its interior facilities rather than judging by appearances 🙂 🌟Overall rating: ★4.0 / 5.0
View on GoogleI was tired from walking on a tour of Tokyo's five major shrines, so I stopped by for a rest. I ordered an iced cafe latte for ¥550.-, and besides being delicious, it was a generous serving, which was nice. I was so tired that despite the large amount, I almost drank it all in one go. They were playing jazz arrangements of Off Course songs? But overall it was very quiet and perfect for relaxing. If working or studying is allowed too, I think it would be ideal. Thanks for the meal.
