I visited the Yoshibe Nishi-Kasai branch and had an amazing experience. It’s a small, cozy local spot with a really welcoming atmosphere. The employees were incredibly kind and patient — even though they don’t speak much English, they did everything they could to help us and make ordering easy. The food was so good that me and my buddies ended up going back every single night during our trip. Every dish was a 10/10. It was always fresh, flavorful, and quick. If you’re looking for great food and genuine hospitality, this place is a gem. Highly recommend! 🙌🍜

The Best Ramen Experience in Tokyo (And How to Do It Right) I'm so glad I found this place. It's one of those classic, old-school ramen shops that IS the real Tokyo, not just another tourist spot. The vibe is incredible, and the staff were super friendly, making me feel welcome as a foreigner. And the ramen... just wow. I noticed on their menu that they take great pride in their tonkotsu broth, and the taste absolutely proves it. It has this amazingly deep, rich flavor that’s completely different from the big chains. The ordering process is key to the whole experience, and here are the tips that made my visit perfect: First, do what the locals do. I saw them starting with gyoza and a beer, so I did the same. It's the right move. You get to relax with a snack while you wait for your ramen. It feels like a truly authentic experience. The ticket machine is all in Japanese, but it's no problem. Just open the Google Translate app and use the camera function on the buttons. It works perfectly. Get your tickets for ramen, gyoza, beer, and definitely grab a "Kaedama" (noodle refill) ticket for later. When you give the staff your tickets, they'll ask you the most important question: Thick noodles ("Futomen") or Thin ("Hosomen")? It’s awesome that you get to choose. The Kaedama ticket is the secret weapon here. After you finish your first bowl, you give them the ticket and get a refill with the other noodle style you didn't pick the first time. It's a brilliant way to try both. Seriously, skip the tourist traps you see everywhere and come here. You won't regret it. An unforgettable Tokyo meal.

Ramen was very delicious, the broth is very rich without overwhelmingly fatty or oily. The place gives a retro vibe, is very good taken care of and clean. It was comfy both the food and atmosphere, I had visited them twice in only 1 month period. One big minus is that the smell of tobacco (if someone is smoking at front of the shop), smoke will get through from the door and I can very much smell it if sitting on the front row. I'm not a person who can handle tobacco smoke... But this should be resolved if I just take a further seat
