Great hospitality especially patient with foreigners using Google translate ( although I was there close to midnight so they were not busy) The only downside is the price is a bit on the not cheap range, but not super expensive.

Visited for dinner on Saturday. Being a weekend, it was bustling and full by around 19:00. The dining area is fairly spacious, but a reservation is safer. As the name suggests, its distinctive feature is an extensive nigiri sushi selection despite being an izakaya. Inexpensive and not bad. The chutoro was especially good. However, although it's not sushi, the grilled hokke was watery and tasted bad. The service wasn't bad, but perhaps both the kitchen and dining room were understaffed, because the food took ages to arrive. It was taking so long that I reluctantly canceled an additional order. Overall, prices are low and there are creative menu items, so I'd like to return, but the long serving times did bother me. I hope they improve.

I went alone on a weekday evening. After entering, I was shown to a seat, but had to call someone over to place my first order. The staff's attitude wasn't bad, but the drinks were slow to arrive. Also, tables were mostly left uncleared after customers left. The food and service were good, but everything was slow, so it felt a little expensive when I paid. A shame, because if at least the drinks had come faster, I'd have had another before leaving.

They're probably understaffed. The drinks arrived after ordering, but no food. We waited a while, and only 2 of the 6 dishes we'd ordered finally came. They said the rest hadn't even been started, so we had them canceled and left. The young part-timer was working hard, but I felt rather sorry for them. The other staff weren't very energetic either… To the owner, you should visit the place once in a while. It's going to go under eventually.
