We came here because we lived close by the station and so we decided to try out this small cafe. We ordered Iced coffee and Napolitan spaghetti. The owner prepared it with love as fresh as it gets. The coffee was delicious and fresh, the spaghetti was light, delicious and filling. We will definitely come back to try more items from the menu

Good food at a reasonable price

江戸川駅 on the Keisei Line is the nearest station to 小岩菖蒲園. The streets themselves have a retro atmosphere, as though left behind in the Showa era. I had lunch at the coffee shop 「若竹」 right near 江戸川駅. The place has a Showa atmosphere, but the interior is fairly clean and tidy. You can relax and unwind. I ordered the old-fashioned Napolitan set. The Napolitan had that classic sweet sauce, nostalgic and delicious〜. The owner is friendly and nice, and the menu prices are generally on the low side. It's a coffee shop I'd recommend.

Visited on the way back from 小岩菖蒲園. The Napolitan was the best I've ever had, even compared with long-established places or places where it originated. The older owner runs it alone, so definitely visit when you have time to spare!
