Very good service. Quiet and not crowded.
View on GoogleIt's very crowded at lunchtime, mainly with older customers. Many people arrive right when it opens at half past 11, and there seem to be reservations too, so it's simply very busy. Some people had written their names down and were waiting. There's a wide range of Japanese dishes, even at lunchtime. It's the kind of meal where they serve plenty of many different things, so people who like that probably find it lavish and delicious. Personally, I don't like grilled salmon, rolled omelet, and vinegared turnip and dried shredded daikon? being served in the same small bowl, so I wished they'd reduce the number of items and make each one tastier. Lunch is reasonably priced for the number of dishes and the atmosphere.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch on a weekday. I was at Tower Hall Funabori for work and went in because it was in the same building. It's right in front of Funabori Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. I ordered the tempura soba set. It also came with simmered dishes and chawanmushi, and was both healthy and delicious.
View on GoogleI chose the tendon and soba set. You can choose cold or hot soba. The fried oyster, black cod, sukiyaki, makunouchi, and other meal sets come with lots of small side dishes and are very satisfying. The tendon had 2 shrimp, kisu fish, and vegetables such as pumpkin and eggplant. The seasoning wasn't too strong, and it was very delicious. Service took a little time, but we'd ordered lots of small dishes separately, such as sashimi, tempura, and chawanmushi, so I thought it was understandable. There seem to be tatami seats too. Another table was having all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu, and the meat and vegetables looked very delicious. It's close to the station, and Tower Hall has toilets and a baby care room, making it convenient and useful for meeting up.
View on GoogleWe came for an okuizome first-meal celebration. From 17:00 on a day off. A private room for four adults, one child, and one baby. The food was delicious and the private room was clean. I'd like to use it again for a formal occasion. 1. We sat comfortably in a private room with a sunken kotatsu. There was plenty of space. Without us specifically asking, they'd prepared a place with floor cushions where we could lay the baby down. That made me happy. 2. Our child had the children's meal. They said the hamburger steak was tender and delicious. The okuizome meal was lovely too. 3. The adults' food was elaborate as well, a course unlike what we'd normally eat. I thought it would end with rice, but it was cold soba, which was refreshing and delicious. 4. We made quite a bit of noise because we had children with us, but the staff were kind and attentive without hovering.
