舎鈴 西葛西店Sharin Nishikasaiten
Tsukemen you never get tired of, even if you eat it every day—that's Shariin's tsukemen. Custom-made medium-thick noodles fragrant with the aroma of wheat, with a rich animal-based soup simmered for hours with a large amount of ingredients. With the umami of the animal broth, the sweetness of vegetables, and the sharpness of soy sauce, this perfectly balanced, not-too-heavy tsukemen has a flavor that becomes addictive once you try it.

Great Little hole in the wall for dinner. Stayed in the area whilst visiting Tokyo and hadn’t really explored the food around Nishi Kasai until this evening. This place did not disappoint! Order through kiosk, sit down and the chef will come grab your ticket. Would definitely come again! About ¥1100 four a regular size bowl of tsukemen and ¥300 for a plate of six Gyoza!
View on GoogleA small hole-in-the-wall noodle shop. I had the Tsukemen. The soup leaned sweet and salty with plenty of shallots. Simple and packed with flavour so was the highlight of the dish. The noodles were just okay. Slightly darker in colour and while they were chewy, they didn't have much spring to it. Made me wonder what kind of flour mix was used (some buckwheat mixed in there maybe?) Great value for money, cheap noodles and good for a quick bite to eat.

View on GoogleOrdered the Nama-Shichimi Tsukemen (fresh seven-spice dipping noodles), small portion. Thick, chewy noodles are served in a black bowl topped with fresh seven-spice blend and shiso leaf. The dipping broth is remarkably dense — noticeable from the fine foam on the surface — and adding the seven-spice deepens the flavor with a clean, lively heat. The posted instructions recommend adding the chashu and bamboo shoots directly into the broth, which keeps the balance consistent throughout the meal. The chashu is thick-cut and tender. Five condiments are available tableside: yuzu powder, seasonal citrus vinegar, coarsely ground ume plum, black seven-spice, and chili powder. Adding the ume plum midway through refreshes the palate nicely. No wait at 6 PM. Counter seating makes solo dining comfortable. Clear eating instructions posted in-store make this accessible for first-timers and regulars alike.
