(Post date / visit date) 2025・10・11 Gomoku ramen (1100 yen) The moment I walked in, it was packed. Even though I came in around 2 PM. Well, there's no competition around. Gomoku ramen Yep yep, it looks pretty. There's even datemaki. Good, good. The soup?? Oh no~~😩 Like diluted consommé? The toppings are, as expected, mostly bean sprouts. Fish cakes & noodles. There's plenty of it. The shiitake is outstanding. Poor value for money. 🌟3
View on GoogleI went to 三角砂場 in Edogawa Ward. I knew it was across from the fish shop 魚信, but I'd never been inside, so while buying sashimi at 魚信 I stopped in for soba. At a soba shop I'm trying for the first time, I always go with cold soba, so I ordered the vegetable tempura seiro for 1,600 yen. The soba is good, the tempura is good, and it comes not only with soba dipping sauce but also tempura dipping sauce and grated daikon topped with grated ginger. Service is fast too. The staff were good too. The interior feels clean, which is great. Prices are reasonable too. At 2 PM the place was almost full. Most seem to be regulars. They don't say why they're closing on 11/4, but I think it's a shame. I'd like to go one more time before then.
View on GoogleWent for lunch. Customers kept coming nonstop, and I was shown to the counter. I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tendon gozen (sansai, hot) for 1600 yen. It's pricey, but both the portion and taste are satisfying. Next time I want to try the seiro.
View on GoogleCame in a little after 11 on a weekday. They open at 11, but when I went in it was almost full. From the outside it looks pricey, but the menu is in the 1,000-yen range, surprisingly affordable. There are tables, tatami seating, and counter seats; the counter is like sharing a long table. The seats were full, but turnover is surprisingly quick (the staff are efficient), so depending on timing, you can get in if you wait? I ordered the lunch menu (1,100 yen: limited to 30 servings), and it was surprisingly filling, and the oyakodon was insanely good. The soba is of course delicious too, but it's been a while since I came across such a good oyakodon. They bring soba-yu without you asking, and coffee (iced or hot) comes after the meal, so you're satisfied to the very end. However, there's no partner parking nearby, so park at a coin parking lot (3-minute walk) or use public transport (buses, etc.). I get the impression most customers are people from the neighborhood.
View on GoogleA long-established shop founded 60 years ago, between Kasai and Ichinoe One of the Big Three of Edo soba, 「砂場」 The dashi and tsuyu use high-quality Hokkaido ma-kombu, honkare honbushi from Kagoshima, saba-bushi from Yakushima, and uda-bushi from Kochi The soba uses stone-milled coarse buckwheat flour from Etanbetsu, Hokkaido, along with other buckwheat flours carefully selected by 砂場. By sticking to traditional handmade methods passed down since the Edo period and natural ingredients, the tsuyu has a mellow, deep flavor. The tendon and seiro set I had this time was super delicious, so I really want you to try it. The menu is extensive too, and everything is of a quality that'll definitely make you want to come back. ※PAYPAY accepted
