Last night in Japan and have been eyeing this place for a while. Glad I decided to stop by and eat because it did not disappoint. The owner is no nonsense. Make the ramen, serve the ramen, eat the ramen, and go. Flavors are delicious and will definitely be making my way back here next time.

Food and music are top notch. Definitely the best ramen place around the area.

ラーメン 巓（いただき） in Higashi-Kasai, Edogawa Ward, Tokyo Opened March 2013 About 680m from Kasai Station, with coin parking (CP) nearby Meal ticket system (cash), 7 counter seats This is a popular Higashi-Kasai shop in the lineage of the famous 「六角家」, one of the Big Three of iekei. A quiet, craftsman-like owner runs it solo. Ramen with egg ¥1,050 (all regular) Open the door and there's that unmistakable 'smell'~, brings back memories of my youth. The soup's color and aroma have a classic feel too; dip the spoon in and a light soy sauce color appears, and the crisp, sharp saltiness brings out the 'character' of those days even more, and I put it in my mouth nodding slightly, so soul-soothingly good... You can see the noodle boxes in the kitchen; they use 「酒井製麺」, the standard for this lineage, flat, medium-thick, slightly short noodles, and these tasty noodles match the soup really well too. (Soft might be better) For someone who goes on and on about iekei ramen, this was actually my first visit here (embarrassing), but it was pretty good; for those who like 'smelly iekei', it'll be irresistible.
