I'd been curious about this place for ages, so I went in with my heart racing! The owner welcomed me with a smile and kindly said it must be tough working even during Obon. I ordered the bean sprout ramen a friend had said was good. They told me that although it's soy sauce-based, they could make it with a thickened sauce, so I chose that! It was piping hot with a good pepper kick, and I thought it was quite tasty. I did feel it would be easier to walk in if it were a little cleaner, haha. It's hard to find meals out at this price anymore, so I'm grateful. There was a lovely smell of stir-fried vegetables? So next time I'd like to try a stir-fry or fried rice!
View on Googleラーメン一歩, a ramen shop near Shinozaki Station. I had gomoku chuka🍜 for 900円. It has a peppery soy sauce flavor and thin curly noodles. I think it's closer to bean sprout noodles with thickened sauce than gomoku😢. I'd like to try other items too, but I don't think I'll return. Counter seating only.
View on GoogleI had business near Shinozaki Station and arrived well before my meeting time. I searched for ramen shops around the station, and this was the nearest, so I stopped in. Perhaps because it was around 5 in the evening? There was only 1 other customer, who seemed to be a regular. I sat at the counter near the entrance and ordered wonton noodles for ¥700. The bowl arrived in a few minutes. First, a sip of broth: a light soy sauce-based soup typical of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The noodles were thin and curly, and the chashu was slightly firm simmered pork. A simple ramen with menma, naruto, green onion, and nori.
View on GoogleA ramen shop that feels like a renovated house Such a strong, comforting feeling of being in someone's home Counter seating only Seems to be run by a husband and wife Ippo ramen 700円 Square-cut, chewy, medium-thick noodles Peppery soy sauce broth Strongly flavored, yet somehow you keep drinking it The chashu is thin and firm The seasoned egg is seriously packed with flavor
View on GoogleA neighborhood Chinese ramen shop. The miso ramen(800円)I ordered seemed to be made by stir-frying bean sprouts, garlic chives, and shredded carrots, then adding broth and miso. Perhaps due to COVID, there were few customers, and the owner often seemed idle or stayed in the back. Unless there were some particular reason, I think I'd be more inclined to return to a chain ramen shop a little farther away? (In terms of taste, price, and service) However, while more places prohibit smoking under the Health Promotion Act, this place appears to allow it, judging by the ashtrays.
