I have visited the Kisarazu, Tateyama, and Sodegaura branches many times and was always satisfied with the delicious sushi. Because of that, I visited the Shinozaki branch with high expectations, but I felt a difference in the quality of the fish and the presentation, to the point where I wondered, "Is this really the same restaurant?" I ordered various types of toppings, but some were too watery and mushy, some had poor color, and some were served while still slightly frozen, which was disappointing given my expectations. Also, the presentation lacked care overall. Sushi was placed on plates that still had water droplets on them, the sizes of the two pieces were very different, and the placement felt sloppy. On the other hand, the interior was bright and clean, which was nice. Since my impression of the branches I've used so far was very good, this experience was very disappointing. In the future, when I use Yamato, I will go to the branches in Chiba Prefecture that have had high satisfaction.
