I tried coming here but the lady was very rude. Told me it was closed. I told her that on Google her restaurant shows as open. She said " I don't know Google". What do you mean? Who doesn't know Google? Your restaurant is on Google maps. Then told me to leave in a very rude way. I think she doesn't want to serve foreigners. I drove 30 min to try this place and she treated me like that. Beware!
View on GoogleVisited Tuesday just before 12. Ordered the fried rice and gyoza set After 12, customers kept pouring in. Food arrived in about 10 minutes The fried rice was the fluffy type, piping hot and delicious But the portion was so big I wondered if it was a large😅 The gyoza had chewy skins and were just average 980 yen for this set feels like a good deal.
View on GoogleSeptember 2024, visited around 11:15 on a weekday. While I was looking at the menu board outside, a female staff member came out and called "Come on in〜", so I went in. No one else was there, so I was the first customer of the day. Inside there are several tables, plus a round table in the back. I ordered the miso ramen and fried chicken karaage set for 980 yen; they said I could choose thin or thick noodles, so I asked for thick. It was served after about 13 minutes. The soup has a strong Japanese-style dashi. The miso punch is restrained, a light preparation. After sipping the soup, the dashi flavor seems to slowly seep out, a taste like an extension of miso soup. The noodles are extra-thick, perfectly round. Chewy and springy, pushing back against your teeth. Quite an elastic bite—this kind of chewiness is probably rare. I see, they seem to be house-made noodles. But they might be a bit out of balance with the gentle miso soup. Maybe I should have gone with thin noodles. The chashu is pork belly, 70% fat. Greasy, just as it looks, and not to my taste. Then I bit into the karaage. Probably thigh meat—moist with a nice texture. Well-marinated, not too strong and not too mild, a good balance that brings out the flavor of the meat. Delicious. Big pieces with plenty to bite into, and with 3 of them I was full. Overall, I got the impression everything was carefully made.
View on GoogleA place that serves stir-fries using straw mushrooms. I had the suanlatang noodles, spring rolls, and braised shrimp and tofu. The suanlatang noodles were more spicy than sour, with a strong chili flavor. I think people who like that will love it. You can pay with PayPay. Takeout is also available, which was helpful.
View on GoogleThe portions are big, so with 3 or more people you can try lots of things☺️ (I went with 7 people!) Ate and drank… what?! Such great value😍 The flavors aren't too strong either, so you just keep eating♪ Payment is cash or PayPay! Cards aren't accepted, so be careful💦
