Nakakasai, Edogawa-ku. The interior feels like an old-fashioned public diner, and prices are reasonable. I stopped by when I was in Nakakasai for work. I ordered fried rice, and I think it's good. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be open on weekends. They have an alcohol menu too, so it looks good for drinking as well. I live far from Kasai, so I probably won't get many chances to go, but if fate allows, I'd like to try other things like the set meals.

An old-fashioned atmosphere—I was happy to find there are still set-meal diners like this. The food was homestyle and very delicious. It made me feel nostalgic. Thank you very much.

Old-shop tour No. 949: a long-established diner founded around 1970 Ordered the 890 yen daily set meal with multigrain rice. It was teriyaki pork wrapped around onion, and it was pretty good. It feels somehow like a nice school cafeteria or staff canteen, strangely comfortable. There were lots of other tasty-looking dishes too, so it's hard to choose. A bit of a distance from the station, but a hidden gem diner known only to those in the know. Parking available Cash only

Came for lunch. First visit. A diner with a classic atmosphere. The parking lot is right in front, so it's very convenient by car. That day I ordered the regular dry curry ¥510 and a fried egg ¥250. The dry curry had a surprisingly spicy flavor that didn't match the shop's vibe. As expected of Kasai, the curry town. Halfway through, I had the fried egg on the rice. I'd really like to try the other dishes too. Thanks for the meal!
