Lunch is around 800¥. Unlimited rice refills. Salad and pickles are self-service. They ask about tea and rice before you run out! (This is fantastic!!) If you want to eat happily until you're full, you can't go wrong!

I went because the photo of the gyoza caught my eye. The gyoza just about passed, but the karaage and yakisoba were pretty disappointing. Both the service and food lacked care and felt sloppy.

I ordered the twice-cooked pork lunch. What came out was different from the photo. The almond jelly had no fruit, and there was no zha cai either. To be fair, the menu had a later addition saying, photos are for illustration only. Can't be helped… But it tasted good. And apparently smoking is allowed, which seems to appeal to some people.

Two of us went for lunch. We ordered Sichuan tantanmen, the liver and garlic chive set meal, and the gyoza and beer set. All this was just over 2,000 yen, which is relatively reasonable. The food itself was quite tasty, and rice refills are free at lunch. The tantanmen was spicy, and I finished everything, including the soup, while sweating buckets. The gyoza were properly packed with filling and satisfying too. However, smoking being allowed throughout the restaurant is a bit of a drawback for me personally. If they had nonsmoking seats, I'd have liked to drop in again.

It's pronounced “Ihoukyo.” It's a Chinese restaurant run by Chinese people. The 3 of us had 2 beers, ate our fill, and the bill was 5,800 yen! Cheap and delicious. I returned for lunch another day. Weekly lunch A set, 800 yen → vegetable noodles, half fried rice, almond jelly, salad (unlimited refills), shrimp crackers (unlimited refills). A great deal. The fried rice has separate, fluffy grains you can't achieve at home. The one drawback is that it isn't nonsmoking.
