Revisited 2024.3 All the horumon (offal) is fresh and very delicious! I don't like liver, but on my first visit it came in the assorted platter, so I tried it and it was so delicious! I still can't eat it anywhere else, but it was delicious on my revisit too. Theirs is the only one I can eat (lol) The older guy who owns it is just great too! A friendly and very kind owner. I'll definitely go again!
View on GoogleUh-oh. I want to write a review, but if everyone finds out, it'll get crowded... As everyone has written, the owner runs it solo. When I came in, I was told, "It'll take a while, but if that's okay with you," so I steeled myself and went in. I ordered motsu nabe and grilled motsu, and when I was torn between the red and white hot pot, he recommended, "Get the white, and I'll add the red spicy seasoning so you can switch up the flavor halfway through," and I could feel what a good person the owner is. Then, before the hot pot, grilled motsu on a shichirin. I ordered the 5-kind platter, but it turned into a 6-kind platter. (lol) The grilled motsu was amazing too, and to finish the motsu nabe I had cheese zosui, which was like risotto and delicious. The motsu is fresh and insanely delicious. The owner's personality is just as everyone has written. The bill was so cheap I went, huh?, is this really okay? Between Nagashima the stew shop and this place, I'm worried they'll become well-known and get crowded.
View on GoogleThe day before, they'd run out of ingredients, and because of the kindness of the shacho-san (owner), who kept bowing and apologizing, we went the next day. With its comfortable local atmosphere, we had a delicious meal with the kids. The motsu nabe broth in particular is amazing. Be sure to have the ramen at the end too~
View on GoogleIt's getting cold, so I wanted hot pot and came here! It was my first time; inside was on the narrow side with a stylish feel. There was a counter too, so it seems easy to go even alone! This time I wanted hot pot, so I ordered the extra-spicy chili oil motsu nabe and kimchi! The staff asked, "It's really spicy, are you sure?" so my heart was pounding. lol There was tons of chili oil in the heap of vegetables! It wasn't as spicy as I expected, but it was very delicious! To finish, I ordered cheese noodles! It was Chinese noodles and powdered cheese lol But the powdered cheese melted into the broth and gave it a great flavor!
View on GoogleBoth the grilled horumon and the hot pot are delicious. The liver is also very fresh and so delicious that I kept ordering seconds. It seems the manager runs the place alone, but the wait for food doesn't bother me. When I couldn't decide what to order, he gave recommendations based on my preferences; kind and courteous, really great. I'll come eat again.
