Food is outstanding. Menu completely in japanese, no english at all. We managed with Google Translate. Staff was extremely attentive and patient. Great experience, don't be detracted from the language barrier. Portions were plentiful. Spent around 8500 with food, beers, and sake. Cash only. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleSuch a beautiful okonomiyaki, it felt like a shame to cut it! They put it on a warm teppan, so it stayed warm right to the end, which was nice too ^^
View on GoogleThe moment you walk in, there's a smell of oxidized oil. For yakitori I ordered heart and liver, plus pork shiro (intestine). All of it was low quality, and the pork shiro in particular was dried out and flavorless. You'd be far more satisfied eating at Shintoriban, a yakitori place nearby. I also ordered about 5 oden items, but nothing stood out, and there was very little oden broth, which was disappointing. I thought convenience store oden would taste better. Up to this point it's still tolerable; at this place, the service was even worse than the food. I ate here with a friend, and a staff member dropped oden broth on my friend's bag without apologizing. On top of that, despite calling itself a teppan dining place on the shop sign, the teppan wouldn't heat up, and the monja we ordered didn't cook through and stayed half-raw. The staff pushed us to cook the monja on another teppan, but that one didn't have enough heat either, a waste of time. Honestly, I want back the pointless time spent making food we couldn't eat. After all, I'm spending a precious day off work here
View on GoogleThe atmosphere inside is nice We ordered Hiroshima-yaki, salt yakisoba, skewers, and oden. It was delicious, we had a fun chat with the staff, and they taught us the difference between Hiroshima-yaki and okonomiyaki. I'd like to go again.
View on GoogleIt's a teppanyaki place with okonomiyaki, yakisoba and the like, but Hiroshima-yaki seems to be the main thing. I ordered the lunch sauce yakisoba for 680 yen. It was ordinary yakisoba. Another feature is that they have lots of unusual drinks, both sake and shochu, umeshu, liqueurs, and so on. The shop is modern and nice, but it seems to be run by a married couple, and it's nice that it isn't pretentious.
